I’m only 12 and I’m building this but it has a missing piece and me and my family have been to busy to get the piece sadly still don’t have it. I build a lot of expert sets and they are really fun.

On my first modular building one piece was missing, but luckily that piece was on the inside and is common. Though I haven’t put it on yet.

There is a solution! You can try to contact Lego customer service. Or, if you have a huge Lego collection, you can try to find that piece there. I personally have a huge box of Lego sets taken apart. I recently used it to find a brick for Downtown Diner I got for christmas.

I built the cafe and I saw a missing peace but I think it was in the wall and I was too lazy so I just left it 😂😂

This is by far the best modular Lego has created. I really like the Lego Fan's apartment, it really reminds me of my basement since I have all the modulars on display, the Sydney Opera House and the 1:300 Large Scale Eiffel Tower just like the apartment. I really hope the Lego keeps it up and continues this great series!

The outdoor cooking/kitchen area, is supposed to be an elevated backyard. It's like a barbacue setup, for someone who lives in an apartment. I've personally seen that where I live

I think my favorite part about these modular building sets is seeing how everyday things are represented in Lego form. That piano build is particularly cute. Using the white "vented" 2x1 tile pieces to represent the keys is super clever.

If you’re new into creator modulars and you make this your first set, if you retroactively build the earlier sets, nothing would surprise you anymore. Coz this single set has the heart / uniqueness of each of the earlier modulars.

I LOVE this modular set! The shopping mall and teal-pink diner ones are still my favorites but this is a close runner up. The sofa bed was awesome as was the overall apartment with all the essentials of a real life dweling! I loved the tiny representations of modular sets. I enjoy how it makes one use the imagination to figure out which sets they are. I told my sister about the dentist office and she loved it, as it represented her own office.

My favorite factor about product development (Lego products, videogames, etc) is when they incorporate easter-eggs and if they tie in nicely like this set did. So many awesome references to classic modulars, it's crazy and well done.

I loved the Lego Fan apartment! I kept thinking, "Geez, if I keep spending all this money on Legos, that is how I am going to end up--in a Studio apartment with a bathroom so small, I wouldn't be able to bathe." :)

Great review. I'm just wading into this one this weekend. Finally cleared shelf space for it. I agree with the bag numbering. The best I have seen recently was with the enormous Ninjago City set. Each block of numbered bags was limited to 2-3 bags per number. And each built a clear discrete module of the whole. Such that you build the model in sections and never had to have more than three bags of parts open and in play at any time. Very easy to divide up your time. Pick starting and stopping points for multi day builds or even divide up tasks among family.

very much enjoyed both the review and build videos. The build video was one of my favourites of its type. Sing it all as it went together, I didn't see much need for a review (obviously seen it in more detail than a review would break down) but this video proved me very wrong. it didn't even feel like a 20 minute video. thank you for your excellent service to the construction brick community.

since the last lego set I bought was the Green Grocer set many years ago, I'm pretty amazed at how many new little pieces have been added recently! It seems like you can now fit so much more detail into such small spaces! (I'm also still impressed by the fact that these come with interiors at all lol)

I really like the use of the red arrow, it looks nice and does'nt take up as much space as if you would point at every little detail with your fingers. I think you got more than 20 expert set references! Nice video you are my favorite lego youtuber! Keep up the good work Jang!

One of the few times I bought Lego without waiting for your review - as soon as I woke up on Jan 1st I added it to my shopping basket. Totally agree with the roof kitchen... Looks like something from the Pet Shop era before more care was taken with the interiors.

Jang not one reviewer has noticed this yet but the floor in the florist is a direct reference to the launderette in the brick bank as it is the exact same pattern! I love this set, and would definitely get it if I could. So many great pieces and colors, as well as minifigures. Only thing is I wish the wedding cake came with one of each extra toppers, so you could have a "hers and hers" and "his and his". I'm sure it comes with enough extra studs to do that, but it's more of the thought. Excellent review of an excellent set! Keep up the good work, Jang!

This is such a fantastic set. The lego designers are absolute geniuses. I am running out of space for lego modular sets until I move out, and I had room for one more. I think I know which one I will be getting (I measured it out and it will fit despite being 1.5 normal sets wide).

You missed a small detail in the flower shop! A bit of the back wall is meant to come off to allow you to get in a little bit better. Love the pointing stick you made.
