Bottlekap 3rd grade math with a big title on it. Cold fronts push hurricanes in a direction the cold front that was moving in down to Florida broke up on Wednesday only a part of it was left was going to push it to the North west. Keep believing all the fake news including Fox on this one instead of doing some research on your own you always be a sheep..

Moron us of us who live where Hurricanes come make sure we monitor them. You listen to LIARS, political scientist not meteorologist first. Political first and foremost. Thus we become very good at spotting BS and on this one it is very deep indeed. Political is all this coverage is. Selling Climate Change and many reports have done just that have they not? So I look at the track. I look at land masses and such. Cuba always takes the steam out of Hurricanes. Any partial or full land hit does. Yet NOAA lied it would not. As to the tracking north, not yet. They are not very predictable. So far looks to me this one will not turn north. If I lived in Florida in a low lying area or in a mobile home. I may well have evacuated. But this will not harm any well built home unless it knocks a tree down or a telephone pole down on the home. By the way I would also worry about this storm anywhere along the Gulf coast. Texas could well be hit again. Time will tell. No one knows what this storm will do. I still find somewhere in Florida most likely. Most do eventually turn North.

Oh my goodness.... My hometown of St. Pete is in big trouble. Pinellas County is the most densely populated County in Florida. Two it's below sea level and Three it's a penseula and four there's not many ways to get out of there. This could get seriously messy....

You have to account for the pressure in the water driving the storm. Not just the direction its currently going. Hurricanes change directionall the time.. either way no one will know for sure until it happens.

Chris I completely agree with you. This will not be the first time evacuation has needlessly taken place, however it's better to be safe than sorry. I say, watch and make your own determination. I have been telling my wife for three days it looks like a March due west and every time forecasters call East Coast and so on I have disagreed and it still is marching west. Once over the gulf it will grow in size due to the warm 90* water. This has been occurring a long time as evidenced by the curvature of the regions land mass, long before we were here. It is similar to that off of the coast of Alaska where low pressure systems generate grow and pound the coastline creating its shape. Personally ( and I hate to say it ) but New Orleans looks most verable to me. Followed by Texas and quite possibly Mexico if it does not turn at all. The only effect upon it is the upper jet stream which I haven't seen reported on
