My advice (as an Indian) :: Just IGNORE (even firmly deny) all those "want selfie" folks. Foreigners are a curiosity for many in India and all want a selfie with something New / Strange. Most are harmless (especially the kids, older people and families from villages), but some of the young men are outright goons wanting to get up-close to the "cute white women who are too shy to say no". If they asked an Indian women the same thing, they would likely get a earful or feel the sole of a slipper on their face. You will never see them ask an unknown Indian woman for a selfie.

I've heard this story from Susan's video last time. Yes.. during Holi, certain areas of the city are not safe just because most of the street vendors and other manual labourers from villages come to the main city for work and better wages and they get some entertainment only during such festivals. And I believe this is one of the reasons why India having so many festivals year around.! But the celebrations often become bothersome by the actions of some wicked minds under the influence of alcohol.! So it's always wise to seek the help of one local person who guides you during your stay.

Delhi is not very safe for foreigners and Old Delhi is not very safe. There are many thefts there, but the southern part of India is the safest. I have seen your full Indian journey and I like it. You have left to see many good places in Kerala. Do you want to see India once again? There are many more good places to visit in India not just in Kerala

Thing missed in foreign vlogging :- First of all not telling the place where you want to go instead you are showing them on your phone and handling them to them (just speak up the place where you want to go like spice market ) Second first research the place where you are heading (not pretend like hippies where ever i want to go i just go) especially on google and try interacting locals (Or the people which you are interacting ask them about the place). Lastly never accept selfies from stranger guy groups Hope u understand it and make your upcoming tours well its not only for india its like you visit any country more or less hustlers are there and good things are also . I'm from a small city, and unlike our village where most people know us, I was also told to avoid going out in the streets (especially in the morning) during Holi as drunken mobs might prowl. In old areas of large cities it's likely to be a bigger problem due to the migrant population who gets only a few days in the year to celebrate. Hopefully was a learning experience and you can avoid such situations in the future. Lastly, the guy with the gun is a policeman and you should really know from the uniform (just as you know the emergency numbers in Europe), as they can be your best friend if something turns ugly. Next time I wonder if you'll visit some mountains and colder places. 🤩 Happy traveling!

KL in Malaysia is awesome. I’ll have to watch and see what area you go to. I always go to where they have China Town it’s a area where they have blocks of neighborhood where you shop and walk around. No vehicles are allowed except for those who own shops. They have things delivered by vehicle to their shops. You will see if you go there.

Loved your visit videos to india in some point i can say india is still not completly safe for foreigners. In some areas its still unsafe and people have that foreigners attraction and act weired but i will say you should get local guide who is educated and know about all places. There is no mistake of ur tuk tuk driver, actually now any commercial vehicle is not allowed from Red Fort to Spice Market (Khari Bawli). There is another long way through old Delhi railway station to reach out there but because of rush he didn't go to tht route! Do not take a single minute to call police whenever you feel unsafe or someone misbehave to you in delhi! Speak loud nd Say strongly 'No'!

I have lived in US and I know that most of the downtown areas of the cities aren't safe after a certain time of the day. Also, as female travelers more care has to be taken unfortunately. The guy with gun was a cop...when you were saying not feeling safe etc the local man was instructing driver that these are guests take them safely. It was your mistake that you had no idea about local festivals & situation. Insted of saying its unsafe in india pls understand the situation in a better way.

If you go to Africa be sure to hire a few body guards, especially if you travel around the different countries within Africa. Depending on way area you travel, I would hire a few body guards. I’ve read a few books where a woman had been kidnapped for ransom and eventually taken advantage of, if you know what I mean. It’s very common in Africa. So, definitely do your research before you go anywhere in Africa.
