Janissary Grenadiers, but in Medieval 2 Total War

Күн бұрынHand mortars are a really useful unit in Empire Total war. You can place them your line infantry and they can cause devastating damages on enemy units in close quarter. I made a small modding and made janissary musketeers to shoot grenade alike naphta bombs in Medieval 2 Total War too.

How do you fix the gunpowder units bug ? Here , they are all firing in the same time making them actually work In vanilla, Only the first rank fires.

You should unpack the game and change "export_descr_unit" file in data folder. You should delete "fire by rank" attribute from that unit. Btw, if you make all ranks fire at the same time, you would have ridiculously OP unit and it kills the joy of game in campaign. It's like 19th century riflemen against medieval ones.
