I use my turning the year page to write my goals, and I leave a little space so I can jot down notes when I make progress. This year I also included a 2024 horoscope for my sign - not hugely into that, but thought it'd be fun to see!

I’m finally watching this and thought your NYE traditions are similar to what my husband’s family in England do! They have a “tall, dark gentleman” knock at the door and you have to open the door and give him a pound coin. 😊

So glad you’ve started going in on KZfaq because your personality is endearing and fun and you’re a talented artist!❤ Honestly, my past self would think I’m suuuuper lame 😂 I used to go to parties and clubs aaall the time and had lots of friends, drugs , boyfriends on boyfriends on boyfriends, shitty stick and poke tattoos …. Now I get excited about paper, cotton sheets, stationery and genuine wooden floors. I HAVE A FAVOURITE COUCH FABRIC!!! I spend every single Friday night in bed by 9 o’clock with my cat and dog😂 I’m a complete tee totaler with a very small group of close friends! The ONLY things past me would be proud of is that I gave up city life and seeing all my friends in order to be with my cat, I got good at dog training and I now have my own dog who is so lovely and incredibly well trained❤ my love for my pets is something that has never changed and it never will❤️

I use my monthly pages to write down my top ten songs of the month that I get from receiptify! before I used a hobonichi, I would do a monthly wrapup in my diary with that and the shows or movies I'd watched that month, too, since I didn't have a lot to say about each and I just like to see what songs define each month for me. I've never heard of the report and I love that! I think I'll try doing that but also, maybe that's something you could try on your monthly pages with faves instead, so that it doesn't get too repetitive as if you'd done it each week? the CD?? *brilliant*. "so yesterday" was in my head a couple of weeks ago and my entry for the day was a drawing of the CD I would've burned it on as a kid with the lyrics to the bridge going around it and it was so... healing. and for my 30th a couple of months ago I made everyone dress the way I did when I was 13 and we did emo karaoke with a playlist that I curated specifically so it would be accurate down to the right year lol. emo playlists are the absolute best. I love the fact that you did the whole case!

My monthly page before the dailies: it’s where I put any XL stickers from the month, like bumper stickers or restaurant stickers or 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ stuff like that. In the past I did themed silly mind maps, themed loosely off something that either happened in the month or something that I was expecting to happen in the upcoming month. Fun, silly, always looked cool.

You should try yoga. I’m a yoga teacher and it gently and smoothly moves you from where you are into a strong mind, body, and spirit. I’m a chronic pain person. I also lost 30 pounds in 1 year. I’m at 120. Yoga has changed everything about me. Just thought. 💖
