I find that the provisional cast on for Italian/tubular is easiest for me because it’s easy to tell if your cast on is twisted in the round. there are KZfaq tutorials, but i have been using the one for the ranunculus by Midori Hirose a lot lately. either way, you can look up crochet provisional cast on for ribbing on here and i’m sure a bunch of options will pop up
