Hello friends! It's time for my last "plan with me" video of 2023, and it's of course for January 2024! I'm so excited for this one. I personally don't celebrate Lunar New Year (wouldn't mind getting invited to a party by someone who does, though!), but from manga like Fruits Basket, and through living in Japan for almost 4 years, I was exposed plenty to the cultural aspect of the Chinese zodiac. It's kind of become tradition at this point for me to do a monthly theme based on the current animal, starting in 2021 with the cow, 2023 with the rabbit, and now 2024 with the dragon. I suppose I skipped over 2022's tiger, although I did do a little self portrait with a tiger in my 2022 journal hehe.

🌕 I love this setup, the Dragon is stunning 🐉I was so happy to see it in the advent calendar, made a special envelope for all the dragon themed stickers so that I can use them for my February setup. As Chinese new year falls in Feb, I want to use it for that month's setup. Now I need to think of my yearly pages and my January one XD

Love the set up. Just some trivia knowledge, the new zodiac sign doesn’t start until after the lunar new year, so the dragon year starts in mid Fed this year, it’s still rabbit year in Jan.

the dragons were so cute and cool!! the whole layout is so pretty with the stickers and the orange pop, you said you didn't but I personally really like the black border on the oval shape and maybe I would color the first dragon eye orange as well 😆

🐉 Nice spread. It’s not my size notebook but easy enough for me to adapt. I love that you mention where you get your inspiration from because it helps others in the bujo community. I’m here because I was watching Journal Away’s November spread and she mentioned you and you added a sweet comment and it had your KZfaq channel name. I like a streamline look but I don’t think the tab takes away from the front of the notebook. Your tabs are so small and subtle that I think it will look cute.

🐉You are so talented. These are simply gorgeous. I'm a little jealous, I won't lie. lol I've not tried a bullet journal before, so the question I have is, how do you plan for appointments and meetings weeks and months out? I am currently doing decorative planning in a Happy Planner - so opposite, I know. But I need to be able to schedule things weeks and months in advance. How do you do this with a Bullet Journal? Thank you for sharing with us!

Hello!❤️ For future events/appointments I use a future log! You will see it appear in all of my videos of new bullet journal setups (usually once or twice a year). There I have pages with room to write down future events for each month of the year, including appointments, birthdays, holidays, deadlines etc. And then when I set up my monthly pages, I can take a look at the future log and transfer all the events I have for this month☺️

I just equate 🐉dragons to fire 🔥and fire to the sun ☀so i think the green circles should be the sun aka a star. Fun fact - the hottest stars are white but can sometimes have a green tinge so that's the geographical explanation for wanting a green sun
