Regarding your concealer problem: do you use an eyeshadow primer? I’ve heard that if you use a little bit of eyeshadow primer under your eyes before you put on concealer then it can help with the product creasing and settling into fine lines. Might be worth trying!

There are three Bath and Body Works candles I like. 1. Marshmallow fireside (my favorite of all time from them). 2. Hot cocoa and cream. And 3. Rose and vanilla. I’m not a super foodie/gourmand person but for candles I love warmer cosy sort-of gourmand scents. The hot cocoa and cream is not synthetic smelling like most bath and Body works foodie ones (so many pumpkin, caramel, cookie, waffle, etc lol). It’s a Christmas season ONLY candle (at least in US). My favorite candle from a US indie brand is a sweet amber type scent, most of the time I don’t even need to burn it for throw.

Hey Cherie, I also experienced dry eyes from retinols. If you're open to Vaseline or a similar ointment, I've found that it really helps to apply some around my eyes (and around the corners of my nose) before applying the retinol, it acts as a barrier to help against migration!

I also do not like getting rid of empty perfume bottles and even consider buying them sometimes! But I would just display it... why not? it's beautiful and was meant to be looked at.

LRP Cicaplast Baume reformulation has finally hit Aus so stockists are making sure the old stock is bought out before they restock with the new one btw. From good sources it appears the new reformulation seems to be just as good maybe even better fingers crossed.

Ohhhh ok I didnt know they had reformulated. Well that is a relief that it isnt discontinued! Hopefully it is truly an improved formula!

I need to try that Cicaplast Baume, I have rosacea and it's really flaring at the moment with cold, damp outdoor weather and indoor heating

Cosrx has a cica cream i really like as well. Have you tried? Also really like Ren’s Evercalm serum.

Regarding concealers. Not sure if there are certain textures of products that work for you. I have mild dark circles and a bit of texture as well. I’ve had good success with the Monica Blunder Blunder Cover balm foundation/concealer.

Narciso Rodriguez have been discontinuing so many from that Narciso line whilst still releasing more flankers 🤷‍♀️ I love poudrée, but I think that's also discontinued along with the EDT, EDP and rouge!!!

Nice video Cherie. I also love candles with teakwood and I have never found one I like more than Red Fragrance Bergamot and Teakwood. They are a Sydney company as I am trying to support local businesses and only buy candles from Australian suppliers. I have never been a fan of Bath & Bodyworks candles, I find most of them very artificial smelling. I also use a tubing mascara and have tried dozens and I keep coming back to Kevyn Aucoin as it does not smudge or irritate my sensitive eyes.

Hi Chérie, I have the same problem with my eyes. I can’t wear any makeup now besides tubing mascara I can take off with warm water. I have tried everything, nothing works for me… It’s so sad. I used to love wearing eyeshadows. The joy of getting older I guess. 😉

Thanks Jenn! Cancer council is Australian, their products might not be available overseas due to varying rules and restrictions in different jurisdictions but definitely worth a look if you can get them!

I've been having eye bother more of late. I stopped being able to wear my usual mascara, which was the Glossier one, which is mad because it's a more tubing style product and was always great for my sensitive eyes. I picked up the Lancôme Lash Idôle on a whim and that is actually working really well for me. Wears all day, lashes still feel flexible (can't stand crispy lashes) no flaking and no irritation.

Hi Cherie, I received some Estée Lauder mascara in a gift with purchase bag, and it is a tubing mascara that doesn’t smudge (on me). I have also used the DB brand tubing mascara available in some chemists here in Australia. There are 2, one in a light pink box and one in a dark pink box. I prefer the dark pink box as the wand is narrower and easier to control. 😊

Hi Cherie, I use Clinique's moisture surge between my serum and daily moisturiser in the same way you might use an hyaluronic acid, only better imo. It works really well that way. It's way too light and evaporates quickly on its own.

You know I never really get these empty videos but there's a few I watch like you and I completely am drawn in. You actually explain so much. I like the thing you did with the candle that's such a good idea. I never really notice u wear make up stuff, so it was interesting listening about all that. And shows you use good stuff I guess. It always interests me cos I know nothing about it. I watch a surprising amount of make up stuff and never really seem to click and understand what it all does 🤣 Great video mate 🙂

Thank you for an empties video, I like them because you can get a gauge of what somebody actually really likes, and has gone through a whole thing. Or something that's not worth getting again. That has been my question: what does one do with the empty fragrance bottle? I've heard you don't really want to sell it, since some people will refill it with something not the fragrance and try to sell it again. Someone said before to break it and put it in the trash. But sometimes they are so beautiful!
