my second time in Kyoto and first time with Minh - the last time was almost 10 years ago. fell in love with the city all over again. Kyoto is different when exploring by bike. I enjoyed so much wander around this beautiful, intriguing city with a rich history and culture, also just love capturing moments of the locals and the daily life. thanks for the memories Kyoto, i will be back xx 🎋 👘 ⛩️

thank you! We did see lots of crowds in more popular areas like Sannenzaka street and Fushimi Inari Taisha, but we usually love to walk to the quaint streets to avoid crowds and also going early in the morning or late at night helps too!

thank you I'm glad you enjoyed the video! I actually took the photos with Fujifilm XS10 and Pentax, both are digital cameras but Fujifilm has its film simulations that have the very unique film looks, you should check that out ☺

I watch a lot of travel vlogs about Japan and South Korea and I must say that your vlog is among the very best I've seen. It was heart warming and soul touching. The cinematography is so good ! The colour schema and the right mix of OIS gave it a really movie like but also a Kpop MV type of vibe. May I know you editing tool of choice and camera gear. I know a major part of the effect is due to your camera "person's" aesthetics and skills but just of the curiosity of my tech head,...

Hey! Love your aesthetic!! If you dont mind me asking in which month did you go to Japan? I'm planning to go around mid Dec and wondering if that'll be too late for any fall foliage or too cold to be outside?

Hiii 👋🏼 I went during mid to late November - it was cold at night only, during the day it was just a touch chilly in cloudy days, some cities already finished its fall foliage at that point but some just got started. Last year they said foliage came later than normal years, that may be in your favour if it's the same for this year, but make sure you check live forecast before you go, these forecast usually is published on Visit Japan page on IG or in those Japan Travel FB groups, hope this helps!
