First of two parts of our adventure on the Nakasendo Trail between the post towns of Tsumago and Magome in Kiso Valley.
The journey begins in Tokyo then on to Nagoya then the Kiso Valley stations of Nakatsugawa and Nagiso. Quick look around in Nagoya and in Nagiso Town which is incredibly lovely. Final stop is Tsumago where we spend two nights in this beautiful inn with amazing food.
That's almost an entire day on trains! Good thing that Japanese trains are awesome!
