On one hand you see people serving you bowing you you feel the service there, on the other hand at the same time you have to bow to your bosses, to your business partners to anyone you encounter that has a high social rank, what do you think about that?

@@_cherly5097 I don’t quite understand what you’re trying to say, but I have never bowed to my boss, business partner or anyone else for that matter. Here in the UK we only really bow/curtsy for Royalty.

Life goals - make it to Japan to try such a spread before I die. This looks awesome and as someone who likes to try new and different foods, this is like the holy grail of a Japanese cuisine sampling menu.

Your New Years Kimono is very pleasing. The variation of colors across the squares but it's your Nagajuban that really drew my attention....like frost on a window catching the light. An outstanding outfit for the day. And then the games begin. Japan is the King of presentation and those boxes did not disappoint. To top it.....rolling out the Eric-isms and panic watching your balance your dish of wasabi and soy sauce over your pristine outfit....thanks for sharing your celebration with us because it's something most of us will never experience. You feed us vicariously, so well, wink.🐇

Oh no, I missed this 😥 🐇Happy New Year Eric & family! I'll watch this later when I've more time. If I hadn't been cleaning my filthy oven, I'd have caught this. Edit: I've now finished cleaning my oven; I bought myself a duck and prepared duck l'orange last evening, something I haven't cooked since I was in my twenties; that's 40 years ago & I forgot about the duck fat splatter 🤦♀️😅 I've decided that when I visit Japan, I'm going to aim for spending New Years there so I can enjoy Osechi with whomever I go with. The presentation and the variety of food really appeal to me, it's been my dream to visit for over 40 years, maybe even longer. I'll stop here. I often write too much, like now lol I want you to know how much I appreciate your content, Eric. Looking forward to seeing what you have in store for 2023.
