新宿歌舞伎町のモカさんにお邪魔しました！とにかく360度猫に囲まれた猫好きの人の天国でした！ I visited the cat cafe MOCHA in Kabukicho, Shinjuku! @@lisadefries6718 Drink FENUGREEK starting a week before full onset of spring so you enforce your body before the Pollen gets here. It will keep your systems low 😄. Then for the rest of th season, drink atleast 2X a Week and make a habit to flush your nasal passages 1X a week. Especially if you've been outside for a long period of time. Say you went sight seeing or you want to view cherry blossoms or something. You want to rinse the pollen you've breathed in out of your nose. You will have less itchy eye, throat, etc. allergy symptoms 💛 Good luck!

I really don't think that would work. Lots of animal shelters take aggressive or needy animals that need individual care and attention. There's lots of animals that wouldn't like strangers walking around all the time or sharing space with other animals.

The fact that you can’t read people won’t make the Japanese fake. There’re plenty of fake people in the US, like most people on IG and many on YT doing make up tutorials etc are so fake. What are you talking about. Just because you can’t understand Japanese culture, it doesn’t make the Japanese fake. These cats look like expensive pedigrees that have been trained to be calm through many generations of selective breeding, mainly because they don't fight among each other. Most cats that are closely related to strays tend keep their wild, territorial nature with them.

Being clean, tidy, and well mannered is part of Japanese culture. For centuries, Japanese have been taught from a young age that they need to be responsible members of their families and their country, and serve others’ needs before their own. As a result, the people became obedient and relatively passive, and always follow rules whether doing things personally or professionally. In America, it's about all "freedom" of speech and expression. Do whatever you want and screw the rules.

Majority of people would ruin it because as you said, many Americans lack respect. I am all for freedom of speech and expression, but there is a time and place. People are just rude nowadays.

Japanese schools train kids how to do janitorial tasks and keep their class/school clean so when they grow up they'll do the same for their work place, their home, and community. Try doing that in US and the parents may sue you for child abuse.😆

Would love to go there!!! As for allergies, it appears this place is so clean and the cats r as well, I bet you could handle it for awhile. Just take a couple of Claritin and then before leaving, wash your face. Arms, hands and neck. Works every time! This would be lovely to see all these kitties

Most Cat Cafes give me pause (pun intended) but this one seems like they go above and beyond for the cats. All the cats also look very well socialized and overall very happy. Thrilled to see, would love to visit if I'm ever in Jpn!

I just found out there’s a cat cafe in my city where you can relax, play with the cats and apply to adopt them afterwards. Sadly it’s not open right now to the public but last year I donated $150 to the cat cafe and other cat charities and organizations since I’m a big lover of cats ! Have 3 myself :)

They had something like this in Santa Barbara California that I went to that was only $12 per hour and run by a rescue charity. It was nowhere near as nice but nice enough. You could buy treats and it had everything from kittens to older cats. And they were all up for adoption. It was an excellent way to socialize the animals and when I'm retired I want to open one myself. It's a Wonderful way for people to also decide if they want to get a cat. I already have three cats but it was a wonderful and calming to do while I was out of town and missing my fur babies

Wow! I didn't know Mocha was the largest cat cafe! Their cats are sooo sweet and the set up is super comfy. Me and friends stumbled upon Mocha a couple years back when I was in Tokyo for a summer. I'm so happy to see it getting so much love!

I went to one of these in Edmonton. A big disappointment. You have to wait for the cats to come to visit you, but you are competing with all the other girls (who else goes to a cat cafe?) there. A cat will not come to you if you are looking directly at it, so you must pretend you are busy with something else, and pretend you are ignoring it. Of course if a cat does come up to you, it may decide you are not what it had hoped you would be so it may leave you. You have to start over and try to attract a different cat. You pick up a wand with a feather on in and wave it casually, while trying not to look desperate. Meanwhile another younger girl is doing the same thing and cats like her much better. You hold your rage, since that would scare the all the cats away.... eventually, you realize you are in a hook-up bar, only instead of guys, there are cats (and wearing smelly socks would probably be an asset.)

Hi...Believe it or not, we are an Amerasian family, & while living in Southeast Asia, had opportunities to visit different cat cafes, (from Japan all the way through Hong Kong) & always found them to be clean, quiet & gentle places with each of the individual cats very much loved & well taken care of...I'm sorry if my comment sounded rude...Please forgive me...
