Riding on the luxurious sightseeing train Two Stars 4047 running along the beautiful seaside, which just debuted with the West Kyushu Shinkansen Kamome, we will visit Chiwata Station in Nagasaki, famous for its beautiful sunset over Omura Bay.
Since we have some time before sunset, we also stop by the terraced rice fields of Enokushi, located nearby.

The refurbishment of the station is quite astonishing. The degree of detail superb. The people who did the work have something to be very proud of. The attention paid is even down to the old-style station light fittings above the name board. That single b ulb inside a white reflector. 👌

素敵な動画です。海外の方のコメントも多いですが実際に現地でも海外の方も多数見られます。秋の動画なので日が沈む位置が海に向かって左側ですが夏になるともっと正面近くに沈みます。夏の晴れた日の夕方６時過ぎに行くといい景色が見られるでしょう。

I was born and raised in a small town in Nagasaki-ken and now live near Tokyo. I feel that Nagasaki is an isolated part of Japan’ mainland. People in Nagasaki are a little different from those of big cities. People there are leading a life of simplicity, which I feel nostalgic about.

When I was a child, I rode a small train to school through beautiful countryside. To me, the train scene feels both like the seaside and the Japanese countryside. Japanese people feel nostalgia for that Ghibli scene. That scene is like a memory of Japanese people.😊🚂🚋💭
