• Life Update: We are Le... -~-
Our last day in Tokyo was an emotional one. I did not expect to have gotten the one news that I was waiting on desperately. So before coming to Japan, I had applied for my New Zealand citizenship and on our last day in Tokyo, I finally got an email saying, my application had been successful.
When we were in Senso-ji temple, we were just embracing the culture and for fun, we picked out my fortune. To my surprise, it was bang on! It was like, a stranger knew how anxious I was and they were telling me that it was all gonna be okay?! it took me by surprise and hence, the emotions.
Senso-ji was crowded. We could have gone a bit earlier but it was still mesmerisingly beautiful. We also experienced a Sushi train restaurant and it was fun.
In this video, Sagar has given some information on JR pass as well. Since it was our last day in Tokyo, we had to decide what to do and what we could skip. but we managed to squeeze in the Meiji Jingu Shrine. It was very beautiful.
and to celebrate my citizenship, we went to a craft beer brewery in Shibuya. It was one hell of a day.
The next day was our travel day and we had a long one! but This was the day we were going to ride on Japan's Shinkansen for the first time. It was so much fun. We were riding at 280 km/h but did not feel like we were going that fast- AMAZING!
Our plan to chase Mt Fuji did not go as we planned. We were going to explore Hakone but instead, we ended up in a mountain town called Gora. Had the best lunch, had our first Sake tasting and had our first scenic train in the mountains. In the end, we decided to go back to Odawara station and went to Odawara castle.
Please let us know how you like this video in the comments :)

Hi! We are Sagar and Ami. We are New Zealand-based travel vloggers. We started this KZfaq channel at the end of 2020. (No it is not a product of quarantine- haha ) My partner and I share a dream to travel the world. We want to explore those parts of the world that are less travelled. My (Ami) passion is people and I want to share their stories through my travel. On the other hand, all I (Sagar) want to do is to explore as many places as I can in this lifestyle. We both have very different personalities and how we travel together is a story of another time. Our passion for travel has brought us even closer and we cannot wait to travel full-time. Our life is simple. We both work full-time at the moment but we aspire to become full-time travel vloggers. We are originally from Surat, Gujarat, India. Currently, we are living in New Zealand and we cannot be more grateful to be here.
