This has a haunting quietness all about. No sound but the occasional sea bird. Very devastating

What adds to the eerieness of this apocalyptic scene is that every now and then you can hear birds, sea birds I think. May all those who perished rest in peace 🙏🌹

You just know these workers sat down at the end of the day and just cried.

poor poeple, lost their families, their homes, it´s very cold and now..... Fukushima. I pray for them every single day. Today i went to a sooker match in my hometown and before it began the visitors were told to be quiet and it was a amazing Feeling. We were 80.720 people in the arena. Incredible. , a feeling i cant discribe. Horrorble.

I’m curious as to what it smells like after a tsunami. Is it salty like the ocean, or like gasoline? Or musty? Or just nothing at all

Terrible that the great people of Japan and elsewhere faced such devastation. I can't even imagine what they went through. ❤

A good idea to use for the future would be to build anti-water structures all around hot zones, the kind used to protect nuclear reactors. This way the people will have a target to run for in emergency situations. It can help with protection from future nuclear bomb blasts as well if built with the capability. Just looking at this video, another thing that can be done is to make truck loading bins completely water proof that will float. People can climb into that for protection from the waves. It seems like the failed protection structures added to the destruction. Just an idea though.
