i looooved my trip to kansai. my cousin booked a local bar crawling night tour in osaka and our guide was the coolest dude-he had seen more of North America than I had as a born and raised west coast USA gal. we ended up the night drunk screaming kareoke with the rest of our local bar group because we ended up bonding really well 😂. and then the next morning i woke up with an allergic reaction an hour before i had to take the train for a day trip to kyoto !!! we ended up walking a total of 30 miles-and I was hungover and with an allergic reaction too! 😂 needless to say kansai holds a special place in my heart 😂

i looove the way you and Kurt described it as a summer camp, because i went to New York last month for a week with my internet friends that i had never met in person before and we had such a great time together, i also had some time alone and idk it was the perfect balance so yeah, i never thought about it that way and it fits perfectly with how i felt. Know this came out over a week ago but just getting to watch now…when I was in Kyoto 5 years ago I ate at the restaurant in the bottom left at 4:03 and I remember just feeling so much at peace. I was in a lot of pain at that time but it was one of those moments I felt a slight reprieve. Miss that city ❤ must go back someday and eat there

You are so pretty. All the best. Love your videos. I wish I can travel to all the places I want to visit and go to new places everyday. It would mean the world to me and make me so happy to travel all the time. I am 26 years old, stuck in my parents house almost the whole day. Go to therapy twice a week, so depressing. I don’t want to live life like this. I just want to do what makes me happy and traveling all the time/going out to new places will make me happy. Japan is on my list to visit. I wish you a life full of peace, joy, and positivity. I hope you wish all the same for me ♥️

Looks like you had a great time. I wish I could have come! I hope I will get another chance. So am I correct in assuming that seasons in Korea go like this: winter, winter, then suddenly 1.5 weeks of cherry blossom season instead of spring, then immediately summer and when Northern Europe finally also really gets going with summer (mid July) then it’s rainy season in Korea? Then again a rather brief fall and back into a long winter?

I love how you capture your vlogs. Like we really see the place through your eyes. But I do wonder if being present in the moment with all the vlogging is an issue you had before because I find it difficult to take it all in especially at those moments where I keep taking pictures fearing I will lose capturing a beautiful moment.

Hey Cari love your bookish content. Just started watching your vlogs n loving them. I juz watched you're london vlog. Fantastic by the way💯. But may i suggest a couple of other places in the UK. I've watched one or two of your vlogs n if you like museums then i'd suggest Liverpool or Edinburgh. Both of which have great art museums or great castles. This has made me want to go to Japan that much more ❤ thank you so much for taking us along, and I am so happy you guys had such a fantastic time!! I fully intend to go before I leave Korea (I plan to be here at least until August of next year); I’m at the mercy of school breaks, do you have a recommendation as far as summer (July/August) vs winter (January/February) in Japan? (My instinct is winter, but wanted to ask 😅) Oh, and I also wanted to ask if you’d consider organizing group trips within Korea?

Definitely two of the harshest times of year to visit hahha but i might actually say summer? But maybe it’s because we just got out of winter here and i hated it haha summer has rain and heat but also ice cream and festivals!
