I’ve got a small infestation of about 4-5 shoots and none of them are big like those asparagus shaped ones you have in the video, I treated 5 years ago and this is their first reincarnation. Should I treat them immediately as they already have leaves and are 2/3 foot tall? Thanks!!

Yes - if you see them growing 10cm plus a day, it clearly is knotweed. Definitely treat as persistence is needed to eliminate this weed.

@@1918B Cut above the second node on the main stem and inject so that it goes into the roots. Most effective. Need a dry day for this to be most effective

It appears that only chemical treatment works on these. Anything else, even burning, makes them grow more. Insane!

@@knotweedremovaltipsDo you inject them individually? What did you use? I had someone 'clear' by brush cutting and patch doubled in size. 😢

I think they are a terrific addition to my hobby orchard they cool down the soil and prevent sunburn . I consider them a asset
