Honestly as a viewer, I think you should cut down on apologizing for everything you say, I know how viewers can be... and I know that you don't want to offend anyone, But I just don't feel comfortable watching you if your going to be apologizing all the time. Just an opinion, don't hate.

Agree 100% Diplex needs apologies from those easily triggered who have been bitching too him.

Agreed. I've been finding myself having to skip ahead a little bit in the videos to bypass whenever he brings it up. It just takes away from the content of the video in my opinion.

No, every soviet attack started with heavy artillery barrage that evolved into mass combined arms assault with tanks infanfry and air support. Infantry human waves is just a pop history myth. And if commanders were stupid enough to do useless human wave attack that they were considered traitors of the state for failing an attack and were punished.

A few things about the Soviet Japanese war of 1945, though please don't take this as me being upset or 'butt hurt', I really did enjoy the video, but there are a lot of misconceptions about subjects like these and I'd just like to clear them up. 1. Over 100,000 casualties is a bit of an exaggeration, I think. That number most likely includes captured soldiers as well as all wounded. The number killed is likely a 1/3 of that. 2. Japan took the most casualties of the two as it really wasn't prepared to fight a land war with the Soviets who although had taken massive casualties through the war, still had a vast advantage over the forces in Manchuria. 3. The Soviet Union had a little over double the number of combat infantry, but had 5 times as many tanks and artillery and air support. People often forget how much the Red Army loved its artillery, and they sure brought plenty of it. 4. The Soviet Union had superior military equipment at this time, at least in terms of armor and support equipment. The new RPD machine gun and even the T-44 tank were used on this front. Many of the Japanese armored vehicles were basically the equivalent of armored cars on this front, at least when compared to the Soviet vehicles they would have faced. 5. The Soviets did not GENERALLY send mass infantry charges unsupported by artillery air or armor across open fields 'soviet style' as you put it. Yes there are circumstances where this did happen, specifically with penal battalions, and I'm glad you at least sometimes refer to them as such. These battalions were treated horribly and had little change of surviving the war, and most did not. That said, this was not a normal strategy used by the Red Army and it is often overly exaggerated to the extreme in films such as Enemy at the Gates. Once again, to clarify, at the end of the day you are trying to make videos that are entertaining and interesting to watch, as such you take liberties that I think are totally acceptable. That being said, you have always striven to educate yourself about the conflicts and battles you are taking inspiration from, and often share this information with the viewers, something I highly respect about you. By all means, keep sending waves of infantry against insane bunker complexes, its entertaining, just please be mindful that some of your viewers will see and hear these things and believe they are accurate representations. Mistakes and inaccuracies will happen, no one is perfect, but I felt like I needed to say something in this instance. Been a fan for a long time Diplex, love your videos, and I'll be continuing to watch for a long time still. Thanks for reading.

Kinda right tbh,the soviets is always portrayed as the one who always go with overwhelming numbers and getting hit relentlessly. But it rarely happens. The soviets is good with their tactical as well.Spreading their units across the battlefied. Not usually using numbers to only marching upon sure-death MG fire and heavily fortified bunkers.

Men this is so awesome! You pumping out these Japanese Defense Videos. Great Stuff. And you even do my favourite combanation. Soviets vs Japanese. Far to few battles like this exist on KZfaq so thank you. Btw do you think that it is possible to make a Italian Fort in North Africa, defending itself against the Americans? Or even Italians in Russia against the Soviets? That would be so cool. And its no Problem if you cant do it, i just wanted to ask.

Hey Diplex! I'll suggest that you make a 1940 Battle of Arras. The Allies are quickly losing control of the Battle of France. The BEF and some of the French Army is trapped along the Northern Coast of France and are setting up a defensive perimeter around the port of Dunkirk. The British launch a desperate counterattack on the city of Arras to try to slow down the unstoppable panzers to give time for the evacuation at Dunkirk...

Diplexheated people have the choice to be or not to be offended and reactionary, never apolagies to people who act nurotic in that direction, if people get offended and pissy apolagiesing or explaining yourself to them deffensivly is like saying "i did a bad thing" it feeds them it doesn't get them to leave you alone, my advice is if you didn't do somthing you didn't think was wrong you should just ignore them because they are the kinds of people who wanna cover the floor in egg shells, if your foot steps on an egg shell well thats the egg shells fault for being there so dont worry about em man, its tje internet tje web is full of those people, if they wanna get pissy and shit the bed because you sneazed tjen just let them shit the bed and just keep up the good work cos the subs who enjoy your work aint going anywhere even the ones who CHOOSE (emphasis on choose) to be offended over nothing.
