Hi, in sentence 17 and 51 (2:44 and 9:14), it says "もう少し見せていただけますか?" and its English translation is "Can I have a closer look?" In Chinese caption, it says "可以讓我再多看一些嗎?" It's a bit unclear about its meaning. Does it mean the person wants to take a closer look on the same item or to browse more items in the store? Thank you!

0:50 In this sentence, why didn't you use "ga" particle? I thought when subject and verb use together we put "ga" particle. Oshiete kudasai 👍
@Hamusuke-japanese
@Hamusuke-japanese 10 ай бұрын
Thanks for the comment! This is a difficult part of the Japanese language. The use of "は" and "が" is not easy to explain, so I will be brief here. When you are looking for something like "ありますか?", we basically use "は". Example sentences 「ペン は ありますか?」Do you have a pen? 「これ は ありますか?」Do you have this? If you use "が", the conversation is understandable, but from a Japanese point of view, it is quite uncomfortable. Sorry for the bad explanation.☹ After all, I think the only way to master Japanese particles is to get used to them. (99% of Japanese people use particles instinctively, so they cannot be explained theoretically.) I have also made a video on particles, so please take a look. I also planning to make more Particle videos.
