FYI, 31:30 At this stage, it's not amazake, but just steamed rice. Amazake is a mixture of rice koji, rice, and water. Thank you for sharing your experience!

I am very convinced of taking this sake brewery tour. I would love to participate in making sake for a 150 year old business in Japan. I would not mind staying there either to wake up and make sake.

Thank you John for this Sake video. I think I had taken Sake near the Golden shrine in Kyoto. It was pretty good. Hot and cold version. Clear and white. I might need couple of years of stay In Japan to cover everything. Just love Japan from India.. waiting to plan my second trip

There is not comparaison between wine making and sake making. Wow, great insight into this. As a side bar question, I notices how very snug your feet fit in those slippers. I wear american size 14W shoes. These slippers look only big enough for my big toe. :-) Can I bring my own slippers? My wife knits Phantex slippers. They are warm and they breath. They are also machine washable so hygiene is not a problem.
@onlyinjapanGO
@onlyinjapanGO 4 жыл бұрын
I’ve done that before - brought my own slippers. 20 years ago they never had 29cm sized anything (11 US) but 1) they’re ONLY for indoor use, not even to take outside on to a balcony 2) they should have soft underside so it doesnt make any noises. They often do not have any grip.
