Hey everyone from hot Tokyo! ☀ This video will be useful for whoever is coming to Japan in the summer! Good luck 😂 Here’s additional info from the video - the shirt spray thing lasted about an hour, and the roll-on thing didn’t work very well in my opinion! I’d skip the roll-on one tbh. Alsoooooo I hope that you liked the post-video small talks at the end! I hope to include this casual chat style at the end of every video I make in the future!

Will be there July/August. Really curious how it will be. I visited Thailand in February a few years ago and I wonder how it will compare to that. Thank you for your tips :)

This is definitely content that will not age poorly. First time travelers probably are not prepared for how hot and humid it can get in Japan. These are very helpful suggestions. Necessity is the mother of invention. So many interesting cooling items you showed off. 😂 The oh Sh*t blooper.

Oh! Thank you for remembering. I certainly didn’t. My sister and niece went last summer and mentioned how hot it was. It even hit the mid 20Cs in the nighttime in Tokyo. I recall reading 2023 was an especially brutal summer. Stay hydrated and cool this year Sarah 😊

Thanks for this amazing video! I'm from Germany, but last summer we also reached about 39°C and a friend of mine recently had been to Japan and gave me that roll-on... and I can definitely agree. It didn't really do anything. While I was in Thailand last year, I also used one of these small carry-around fans (and just a normal towel) and it was just amazing 😍

Thanks for the video. Anyone know where we can buy the Cooling Shirt Shower in a store in Tokyo? My idea would be to buy a small spray bottle so you can carry it around in a much smaller and lighter container.

Hello Sarah 👋🏼 😄 久しぶり~ ! It feels like it's been forever haha Aside from the unbearable humidity and occasional downpours in what has been an unusually dry rainy season, summer has been weird so far. It feels more like Sydney than Tokyo as of late. Oh yeah, I bought that cold metal fan thingie last week. Works great! 👍🏼 Anyway, I hope you're doing well (and staying cool) ✌🏽😁

No need to buy the UV umbrella, IMO. Buy a regular WHITE color umbrella, as white colors reflect light/sun ray! Dress brightly, not in black, since black color absorbs sunlight, thus heat.
