Making the Japanese woodworking joinery, "Tsutsumi Arigata Koshikake Tsugi." This is a kind of stopped dovetail half-lap joint. A furniture craftsman made it with special chisels called "Tsuki" chisel, "Koshi-kata" chisel, and "Ken-saki" chisel, which are rare in Japan. We are also experimenting with different processing methods, such as using a jig or using a hammer. You can see the difference in use, advantages, and finish of Japanese woodworking tools.

Thank you so much! Finally, for once, there is no half-meter "reserve" when sawing, which then all the movies chisel away with a chisel. Bravo, master!!!

Attention to detail and an eye for detail equals #1! Where I hope we always have real craftsmen! Machinery, computers, robotics is more efficient and proficient than a human, which means the population needs to be reduced substantially in some mind for real progress, but things ever go awry, it's the craftsmen that are needed.

@@user-rv1ji3hp4u We used to have "craftsmen", where they're attentive to detail, knew all the fine tricks. Then of course we had the inferior types, where everything is always good enough. But now, computers do it through robotics. Where robotics can be done so it attains perfection which used to require a "Real Craftsman". I'm going to guess you are under 40 years old????

Great work! One question though, how do you keep your tools so pristine clean? Is there some sort of coating?
