During my visit to Kenji Komatsu @tracestudy, I had the privilege of seeing his remarkable Japanese tool collection. Kenji is not only an exceptionally talented artist and craftsman, but also a source of great inspiration to me. I am deeply thankful for the opportunity to have been welcomed into his beautiful space. Hope you enjoy

I'm a 5 generation carpenter in the UK people you work for just want it done as quick as possible all with electric tools . The old ways are dying out and will be lost for ever

Amazing video. The axes though, there has to be a safer way, even for masters. In a lifetime, one mistep and you cut your quad tendon clean through or both your akles with an obssessively sharpened samurai quality blade.
