Processing cypress wood to make Shoji screen .
Shoji screens commonly used in Japan are sliding doors.
There are many different designs for shoji screens, and I created one of them.

Did you end up glueing the acrylic panel to the frame?

Thanks for the comment. Acrylic panels are fixed with screws.

Thanks for your comment. Spruce is generally the most commonly used material for shoji screens in Japan. The shoji in this video is also made of spruce wood. Other materials such as cedar and cypress wood are used for shoji screens.

Thanks for your comment🤗 This door is called “shoji” in Japan. There are many types of shoji screens, and this is one of them. This door design is often used in Kyoto.
