Welcome to Bonn in Germany, the vibrant city of history, culture, and stunning beauty! In this walking tour filmed in summer 2023 (July), we will we explore the charming streets, iconic landmarks, and a few hidden gems of Bonn city. We'll also briefly show you the beautiful Beethoven House at the Bonngasse 22-24, where the legendary composer Ludwig van Beethoven was born, and the magnificent Bonn Minster church, a masterpiece of Gothic architecture. In this walk you can experience the rich heritage of the city, which was once the capital of West Germany. We will also stroll through some of Bonn's lively squares, where street performers, artists, and locals come together. Bonn, which used to be the former capital of West Germany, is one of Germany's oldest cities. From 1597 to 1794, the city was the capital of the Electorate of Cologne, and residence of the Archbishops and Prince-electors of Cologne. From 1949 to 1990, the city was the capital of West Germany, and Germany's present constitution, the Basic Law, was declared in the city in 1949. From 1990 to 1999, Bonn served as the seat of government - but no longer capital - of reunited Germany.
Join us on this walking tour in July 2023 as we explore the city center. This video vlog was filmed entirely in 4K 60FPS with high definition binaural sound. The temperature was around 27 degrees Celsius.

Nice walk around a charming city. You missed one of the highlights, the old palace housing our university since 1818 and the relaxing gardens right in front of it. You could briefly see it standing before the old town hall at 25:17, it's the big yellow building right in front of you. Otherwise I feel you captured the atmosphere nicely!

Ich komme aus der nähe, es gibt definitiv schönere Städte wie Bonn. Sehr hohe Kriminalität, sehr viele Migranten. Köln/Bonn ist nicht mehr das es mal war
