It's so fascinating Bob Clark made one of the darkest Christmas movies ever, to then go on and create one of the most revered Christmas movies 9 years later lol

Not to mention that he also directed the teen comedy that spawned a mountain of rip-offs Porky’s. Wild to say the least

He actually uses a lot of the same techniques in both movies. Disorienting POV shots for example.
