hukmee hovan aakaar hukam na kahi-aa jaa-ee.
hukmee hovan jee-a hukam milai vadi-aa-ee.
hukmee utam neech hukam likh dukh sukh paa-ee-ah.
iknaa hukmee bakhsees ik hukmee sadaa bhavaa-ee-ah.
hukmai andar sabh ko baahar hukam na ko-ay.

neutral oberserving is ok and a gift of being human.... one can observe the reality present simply watching through awareness senses( similar to the way that a mirror or a camera sees records captured stores : silent non chatter non opinionated watching witnessing seeing hearing sensing touching tasting smelling)

It is the sensing of the " unchanging unchanged common sense feeling awareness of aliveness " in you me our entire human race ..and a sense that is unchanged with anything and everything .... free of all notions experences actions life idelogies castes societal notions of life activities identities associated norms

it's all embedded in Punjabi culture (especially in pendu culture) through Sikhi. Was there a lot in early 90s but now a lot less and eroding away slowly

It's not really even about 'understanding' the Hukam, the What Is. It is about flowing/being with it, being with whatever Is. Hukam rajaaee 'chalana'. Or 'intuitively knowing' Hukam, What Is, Life Itself. Nanak Hukam je 'bujhe'.

Bibek and Sehaj i.e. intuitively feeling compassionate or warrior spirit or some other feeling in align with gurmat at the right time. Just knowing only doesn't always work but consciously acting according to gurmat in every situation/opportunity/hukam and trying to conjour up feeling under God fear trains your mind to feel as per Gurmat.

Veerji, thank you in advance, A question coming to my mind, if we accept all as Jo hukum and think that all is part of the system, then how can we distinguish, between right, wrong. Why brush our intellect and stand for the wrong? Shouldn't we accept it as Hukum? how do we distinguish between the duty of Sant and Sipahi ?

Ji, if you go back to the very first video of this playlist, talking about 'Ik', Bhai Satpal Singh Ji explains how right and wrong is just a perception of our mind, based on how something is affecting us. Rain could be good for a farmer but bad for someone who planned going out. In reality, the rain is neither. Its just rain. And about 'standing for the wrong', I'd say there's a duality in this statement (right and wrong). The Khalsa works as per Hukam. Basically, we have our arms ready (Kirpan) all the time, and as soon as the universe places us in a position where through us, it wants us to stop something, we must have the readiness for it. Eg.: A man being hit is his fate, and it has to be stopped thru you is your fate. There's nothing wrong in that situation, its just the universe unfolding however it wishes to. (Refer to the Oangkaar video) Likewise, you standing on one side of the road not being able to help someone on the other, doesn't mean you couldn't do the 'good', it just means that the universe decided the person to remain there without help. Its very neutral ji. 'Voicing our words' should have a lot to do with 'Josh' or 'enough is enough' rather than 'Anger'. For this, you can refer to the 'Nirvair' clip in the playlist, its explained in much more detail. Hopefully this helped ji.🌼

Even having a Kirpan in the first place and being placed in a situation where the Kirpan can be used to stop something, is also Hukam. Remove the 'I' ji. Just think, "Universe did this creation, and it wanted to cease that activity through another creation (which is you)" We all are just a medium of the universe doing its own thing. When we start to associate with it as if it has something to do with us on a personal level, that's where the right and wrong comes in.🌼

Sat Shri Akal bhai sahib ji... I have a question.. Please don't take it as a criticism.. I actually want to know this answer for long but not getting it anywhere... So the question is "On the one side, it is said in Gurbani that nothing is in our control and we cannot do anything to whatever is happening to us, everything is in Waheguru's hukam but on the other side, Gurbani suggests us to take Waheguru's name, to remind him, to do good deeds (for eg: Bande khoj dil har roj, moorkhae nal na lujhiye, bure da bhla kar...). So, can you please help in understanding these two totally opposite sides. I mean if nothing is in our control then how can we search our mind to be good or how can we do good with anyone? I hope you will understand what I want to ask
