AoA. Do jeeps go till Rupal village nowadays? When I went there in 2017 jeeps could only go till chungphar glacier in Tarashing.

@@waqarahmed4728 if you need scenic stay them skardu with lots of variety in the region . The only drawback will be the long route of Karakorum highway during winters . Skardu Islamabad travel time in winters will be 12 hours while chitral will be at 8 hours

Umaisa sahib, I think you posted this video after a break of few months. The vlog is excellent. It made me consider a change in my plan. I was planning to go straight to Skardu by Air, now I am thinking of going to gilgit and hiring a 4x4 vehicle to travel to Skardu via Astore. In Skardu I don’t want to miss Basho valley. Can you suggest the best month to undertake my tour? I am thinking of March or April 2023. Just back from Naran-Kaghan-Hunza 10 days by road tour from Islamabad.

You're welcome Aziz sahib Actually I was busy in the tours that's why couldn't compile this guide Now coming back to your question, yes march April will be start of cherry blossom season in skardu . If you're planning to go right now then don't be late as September are the last days of summer season and in October it will be autumns But if you're planning in spring them don't go in march , rather go after April 20 and you will find skardu under the blanket of multi coloured flowers For bashu valley you definitely need a four by four I recommend you hiring a four by four from GILGIT , if you wanna visit from astore to deosai side . If you need four by four then I can help you out in it . This season the rate for four by four was 6500 without fuel . Next year it will be around 7500 keeping in view in inflation
