Thanks that very fish has been through alot including jumping out of the tank a couple of times and almost died. I am extremely lucky that it has turned out this way.

@JoseOJZ Yes it can. Mine is only 6x2x2. Yours will be very large which is better for it. However people also tend to place other species in such a large tank and that is where the problem may start. So choose your tankmates wisely.

@coleofishing Only when they are small fry but then you will have to upgrade eventually to a larger tank as they can grow fast. It is much better that you get a the largest tank you can fit at the outset.

Sam is quite a handsome Saratoga Pearl Jardini and he looks quite content in his tank.

@stratosid702 You don't really need to feed it guppies. Just change their diet to say marine, frozen brine shrimp and live crickets. Live guppies may prove more expensive if they are accustomed to live food when they are older.

I am gratified for you to consider it overpriced as this is a aussie Jardini or Pearl Arowana which is 1/10th the price of its asian arowana (formosus) cousin.

Very detailed scales, what do you feed it for it's color. I feed mine maximum color pellets.

I got a jardini arowana the scale is very beautiful but the tail isn't black yet
