Supernatural story follows two brothers (Sam and Dean Winchester) who are out to kill every evil thing in this world. When Dean was 4 yrs old and Sam only 6 months old; their mother (Mary) was killed, their father (John) was determined to find and kill the demon who killed his wife. They lose family and find new people they call family. They have gone to heaven and h*ll for each other and will do it all over again. Cause that's what FAMILY does and "Family don't end with blood". Follow the adventures of the awesome son of a bi*ch Dean Winchester and Sam Winchester who lost his shoe and is deathly afraid of clowns, on their journey to avert the next apocalypse and save the world. I like how when Jared started to have trouble speaking about it Jensen stepped in. He kept looking at Jared to make sure he was okay with what was being said. Those two are the definition of brothers outside of blood. They make me so proud sharing this type of stuff with us and it made the moment so much more powerful when I saw it the first time. After the episode, I walked away wondering if Jared was okay because I know those things can get to him. I love these two...

Jared started stumbling over his words and looks to Jensen for help. 😭 when Jensen steps in for Jared.. this actually made me really sad... the whole video... all the way through... damn... you can see how close they are to each other. I'm not a very emotional guy I don't think but man.... everyone on set loves you, all your fans love you, it's okay. You always do amazing.

Aggreed. Supernatural saved my sister and my relationship. It started with jokes of her dean me sam and it has progressed so that we are so close and so supportive and bc it has so much to give and so much for us to connect with we understand each other better. If im sad she knows and she does exactly what helps, hug me. And for someone who doesnt hug, HATES hugging, it means the world. So if people say, its just a show... no. Its a family and connects family and it brings people closer and helps us connect with each other and it can be so much more than just a show.

PLEASE can we all aknowledge the fact that, no matter what, it's always Dean hugging Sam? Even when Sam's the one who wrapped his arms around his brother, he ALWAYS lets himself being hugged, alwaysalways putting his arms under Dean's shoulders, never above. It's just so meaningful and I live for it.

I think a lot of thought goes into those moments as far as how the hug will go.. if you think about it.. since Dean is the older brother, it just wouldn't look right if Sam hugged dean with his arms over Deans shoulders.. since Jared is taller than Jensen, it just wouldn't look right.. it would make it seem like Sam was the older brother hugging his shorter, younger brother... know what I mean? Like, just picture Jared hugging Jensen with his arms over Jensen's shoulders.. Jensen would be pulled into Jared's chest while Jared towers over him.. just wouldn't look right.. I agree with you, it is super meaningful and I live for it too.. I just think that production put some thought into it and suggested they hug that way so Dean appears more like the taller, older brother hugging his baby bro.. ☺️❤️❤️❤️

jared being concerned for everyone else on set and knowing that they want to go home too breaks my heart he was having like he said the lowest point of his career and he's still worried about others is just a testament to what a superb and incredible human being he is. I fall more in love with this cast every damn day and I feel so fortunate to be a part of this family

I honestly feel like this season for Jared has been one of his strongest acting wise. Sam has gotten some really meaty scenes and Jared has really done them justice. You can see how far he's come as an actor and how much his talent has grown over these past 14 seasons. The scene he's talking about struggling in, was I thought one of those scenes.

After watching this all I could think about is how that hug was real and when dean said “ok sam...let’s go home,” I heard, “ok Jared, you did it, let’s go home,”

When I first started watching Supernatural, there were all these real-life references in the streaming platform's "extras" sidebar - it honestly gave me a headache and put me off, because I wanted to understand the story for itself, not have to think about what the actors did to get the words and actions right. I still don't like the exaggerated amount of overlaps sometimes. But now I do get it, that it means so much to them, so they want us to know about those overlaps. And that there were magical things happening - as theatre experts say, the true effects of theatre are not just in the script or in the channelling of the character, but also in how the actors' physical presence interacts with those characters. They are human beings, that's why just like us, they also use the story sometimes, to express things they can't express directly. It's a nerdy thing (Nerthus = Mother Earth). The only other movie I saw this happening on, this "interactive mystical theatre" thing, was the set of The Lord of the Rings. But these guys top it. Lol by the way, I had a dream they were actually Rangers (re: Rangers of the North, seem to be the inspiration for Hunters). It made for a very interesting foray into the original nature of these relationships, ie. what Atlantis really stood for, and which Family exactly we are talking about here. ⚜

Oh my God I had my first ever panic attack at the top of an escalator in a crowded mall. Thank Christ for the lady behind me hanging on to the back of my coat or I would have plummeted face first to the bottom. I was literally frozen, couldn't grab the handrail, just stuck in fear and doom. It's like you're outside of yourself and have no control over anything in your radius.

I have had anxiety attacks they can be debilitating. I feel it in my stomach sometimes it goes down to my feet. His acting in this scene despite having an anxiety attack is impressive they really are bonded

There were lots of full circles in there, but also more than that. We know Dean has been fighting since he was a little kid, and has always been the protector of the entire family. He carries so much on his shoulders. In the finale, he asks for permission to rest, to lay it all down, because he can't. He knows he would have come back as a ghost otherwise - obsessing over making sure Sam's okay. So that scene with the permission is both heartbreaking and ecstatic at the same time (notice the utter relief and gratitude on Dean's face). Yes, he had often said he was tired, but the meaning of it had not been so clear. I always think of the song "Warrior" by Paloma Faith now, when I see that scene. 😭

I "felt" Sam/Jared's sense of loss in that scene...I was thinking (and I could be totally wrong) but perhaps Jared was thinking of the future end of Supernatural. The idea of living without his "brother" Jensen is heartbreaking for him. I know I might react the same way. 😕

3:38 "I just can't do it." That hit me hard. I felt that deep down in my soul. Everyone struggling with anxiety or depression has had at least one big moment where they've felt like that, but many of us supernatural fans have been able to get past it and that is greatly due to Jared and the strength he's shown us. The way he keeps going and the way he brightens everyone's lives is a strong message to every single one of his fans and friends and family. Jared helps us to Always Keep Fighting in the exact same way that Sam helped Dean to Always Keep Fighting in that episode. "I believe in us." Jared believes in us.

As an aspiring actor and someone who deals with mild anxiety, I sort of know what happened. If you mess up once and start feeling anxious specially when you realize you’re holding people from calling it a day. The anxiety keeps getting bad and it gets suffocating and pretty horrifying. I’ve experienced that. It becomes hard to act like yourself let alone act and portray another character. Considering how bad Jared’s anxiety condition is and he still managed to pull through and project such a performance, its is truly work of a strong man with an incredible will. Props to him 👏👏.

I think the scene was so emotional and after all the times he has lost Dean it was just too much. And the fact Of where Dean was going, and he was the one who would be killing his older brother/father. As close as J2 is I think their actual brotherhood spills over to the screen and Sw/Dw spills in their life. But the scene was so great I cried. I wish the Golden Globes would see what we see.

The way Jensen's voice breaks when be talks about his concern for Jared that night, my heart just chilled off a crack. As a suffer of anxiety I've had a moment lime that where you're unable to do something that you've done so many times before and have no idea why you can't do it now, and that anxiety builds on itself become it dominos on not bring able to do something, than not being able to complete the next task, than being afraid that you will completely ruin things because of one moment. It can get better though, I am !icing testament to it. Things will get better

I thank Jared was realizing the last 15 years or so of his life is almost over and he’d not seeing Jensen as much was starting to sink in during filming. Depression and anxiety attacks happen at the most horrible times and this just happens to be one for Jared. I cried watching this video. Ik how it is and it’s hard..

It actually took me a while to recover from watching this because I know all too well that feeling of not being lucid. The fact that he's NEVER had a moment like that in filming 360 episodes of television reminded me of the crap hand I've been dealt. I empathized with him so much for the helplessness in those moments. But I also admire him for his skill and aptitude as an actor. I could never do what he does. So it hurt that much more to see him suffer when he has such extraordinary talent and such an extraordinary life. (I think it could have been as simple as a bout with dehydration... it was just a very human day.)

I'm so glad that these two went up for playing in this show together. The unbelievable amount of love that pours into their craft, friendship, brotherhood, extended SPN family is such a gift. They are Icons in their own right. It's beautiful to watch their journeys unfold for 14 years. We are so glad that they've been hands on inclusive with their fan base as well. My only regret is that I never made it to one of their Conventions, and they pretty much wrapped on their last already. Gonna miss this show. I hope the writers are on their "A" game. We're gonna need them go hard for something to sustain us when Baby is done with that last ride down the road.😭

Watched the scene once, just the other day... and I can never watch it again. I didn't know Jared was struggling, in the way they're talking about here, I just knew that I had such a hard time watching it. The entire scene just hit me really REALLY hard, and during it I was just like "oh man, this feels real. Like too real". It was by far the hardest emotional scene between them, throughout the entire show. I straight up had to stop watching Supernatural after that, and walk it off. And I STILL ended up having like a small emotional breakdown, later that day. Just thinking about it. For me, it was just too hard to watch, it just felt too real. Like I wasn't watching a 'heart-to-heart' moment between Sam & Dean, fictional characters on my favorite TV show... but like I was spying on, and easedropping on a very personal and emotional moment between Jared & Jensen. I don't really know how else to describe it, it was just rough. Absolutely, groundbreakingly amazing... but rough.

Wow that’s one of my fave scenes! No wonder it seemed so real Jared was really struggling,I’ve had small panic attacks and anxiety and I don’t know that that’s what he was dealing with and I wouldn’t want to label it as that unless he himself said it but at the end of the day no mater what happened he handled it so incredibly well. 👏🏻👏🏻

Best and most emotional Brotherly moment for Too long. We need moments like this again more often. It got me emotional. Give J2 Dialogue like this and it's tears all around. This part makes me cry so bad every single time I watch it, because I have been Sam screaming “I believe in us” so many times in my life, but my screams always fell on def ears. I know exactly how he feels in that moment. #Supernatural #IBelieveInUs I have C-PTSD and Anxiety Disorder and Depression and I know how it feels so much. Its so hard to battle your brain constantly, and so exhausting.

I really love their relationship because you can actually tell that is as strong as Sam and Dean relationship. Jensen is also older than Jared, they are together for 15 years in a row on the same show and they seem to be really close friends. And now, with the show ending, they are going to be not that close, because each one will be doing their own thing, so it's normal that they get emotional

As someone who grew up with a lot of anxiety, I can just tell by look at Jared's body language and how much he's fiddling with his hands and fingers around the mic while Jensen is telling the story that he is still holding back tears and just so fucking tense kashdakjshskj I feel so fucking bad for him holy shit. this made me so sad wjkhwkjw he's such a badass for working through it and getting his work done. as someone who was born with a speech impediment, and lots of fucking anxiety. I absolutely understand this struggle and how much pressure can be suffocating as hell.

Their solidarity on and off set is amazing. The two of them are the spitting image of best friends and more, through the good, the bad, that sad, the angry, the fun. They are by each others side, they are there for each other. Together they portray such a deep symbol and I believe that, that means so much to so many people. I know it means so much to me.

There are a handful of scenes from this show that literally had me in full blown, bawling like a baby, tears and this scene is definitely one of those where I cried about it to the point of hiccups, lol.. like, seriously.. this scene was that powerful and you could really tell that there was some honest, real emotions between the two of them during that scene.. love it! ❤️❤️❤️

Had to go back and watch that scene. ...oh man...this show has meant so much to so many people for such a long time...we got to watch two guys play brothers that weren't on the same page for a few years get to know each other and grow SO CLOSE...it was watching real life play out with those two guys, but with words written by other people (very talented writers and crew and two very talented actors that let us tag along for the ride). Thank you! And on another note, this show helped my son and I with our grief over losing my dad-my son introduced me to the show shortly after his death, and luckily I was able to watch it from the beginning (thank God for the internet!). And each episode that I watched to catch up and then each new episode once a week during each new season, I was able to forget for awhile the pain of missing my dad and my son's grandfather. Supernatural and the family that developed all over the entire world helped us. THANK YOU!

This entire video is your best n I’ve watched n followed you for looong time. Love all the theme tie-ins n the editing was genius. Jared I can see how the words of someone so very close to him n the emotions could mess you up dealing w depression n having my brother n nephew kill themselves. I was within literally hours when I stumbled onto marathon of SPN. Literally saved me. Knowing he’s struggled w those feelings n I was online when he reached out to fans from Italy. He’s had several very close friends kill themselves too. So think hearing n reading script where Deans essentially stopped fighting; surrendered ( like suicide) & he feels helpless to stop him; absolutely could’ve triggered all kinds of memories n emotions n just sent brain askew for that period of time. It’s tribute to them both that the scene is so bloody good n you really feel them both. Although Jared felt like he failed others he really triumphed over it all. And now real brothers / J2 brothers hug is more poignant knowing it.

I had to do a test for work this morning and there I was at 8 in the morning crying. When Jared started stumbling on his words and Jensen stepped in to help him out it made me feel bad for Jared because I know how he feels. I have depression and anxiety as well I’ve had panic attacks it’s horrible not being to tell someone what’s going on or talk about it without being triggered again. I understand this so much. If I was in the same situation I would’ve been the same way probably and people who’ve never dealt with it don’t understand.

I am so thankful for the people who created this show, this family and understand each other and they try there best to pick each other up when they are falling down. It’s just amazing to see after 15 years of Jensen and Jared working together that they have become brothers and rely on each other for support even though they may not know it and even if they can’t talk about what it going on in real life or the show but they just know that they are there for each other no matter what and they try to lift you up. I don’t know how many other people from this family feel this way like I do but when I watch the show it helps me escape from reality and it’s like a weight lifting off my shoulders for however long I am watching it and it just makes me feel so grateful for how well the show was put together. I thank all of the crew for the countless hours and restless nights just for our benefit so thank you so muchhhhh💙💙

please god, bless this man with eternal happiness because he deserves it all. I honestly can’t imagine how that must’ve felt for him. he’s so beyond strong and i am more than proud of him for getting through it. i rlly want to hug him now my poor baby. And jensen for being a great brother to him and being there to support and help him whenever he needs it. truly something others should be inspired by. Both wonderful roll models and absolute angels sent from above.

You know I dont know what it is about them, or the show, or literally anything. But I love them. The show, the characters, and them. They mean so much to me and have done more for me than anyone. And I've never met them. I cried watching this and typing this. I'm not sure why exactly but I think I speak for most people when I say I wouldnt be here if not for them. Always keep fighting

I find myself watching that scene over and over again and I didn't know why it affected me so hard it was just too perfect to be in a TV show it feels real every line in the scene just fit in its place exactly what it's supposed to be in the perfect timing. In my opinion it was one of the best scene of Jared, Sam and I like it more than I do before after I watched this video maybe it wouldn't be that perfect if it wasn't that hard to make it. Love you guys ❤

Apart from my primary families; I love this show, and I love people who love this show who continuously inspires, helps, and makes people try to smile without hurting anyone. All of yall are the reason that I smile at my job, and at night when I eventually cry myself to sleep. I would give you all one giant global mother earth hug if I could. I love the supernatural family; even tho a few peeps can be petty, and rude. Supernatural's messages connect us I'd say either way. Keep strong supernatural fam.
