12:25 if the drivers actually drive the car and stop the car in pits than purple pit stop make sense. Like they would had to stop the car at certain point for mechanics to change tire.

Why is 120 fps instead of 60 fps more difficult? Shouldn't that be the opposite or is it just a different feeling than your used to?

Something to do with the physics engine working better at 60fps making things like some specific curbs much easier to take (e.g the first and 2nd chicanes at Monza). I'm not pro enough to notice but I just take people's word for it and leave it on 60fps lol

It's an issue with the game engine, to put it in a nutshell. If you lock framerate at 60 fps or 59 fps, the kerbs (particularly the sausage kerbs) aren't as nasty as they should be.

@@moonke77 Was about to ask the same. I heard that the sweet spot in other sim racing is around 90fps or almost 120(118-119fps) but not 120. Idk why

4:45 So driving on 60fps is about 0.2 faster than driving with 120fps? I thought it was the other way around?

It changes the frequency the physics engine updates at as well, so you lose way less time when sending over curbs at 60 fps

FPS = frames per second The physics engine with the curbs works differently at 60 FPS, it gains you more time on them than you would on 120 FPS
