No, he wasn't talking about Boots. Bud was talking about David. Eddie said Boots beat a world-class fighter, referring to David Ave. When Bud beat him, we(including myself) called him a bum or a layup. Bud is pretty much saying that when he fought him, we called him bum, but now, when Boots fights him, he's being called world class. That's the hypocrisy he's referring to.

If you look at Bud vs Boots when they kept David at range, David didn’t respect Buds power and jab like he did Boots and Boots didn’t respect David’s strength and power like Bud did where Bud fought on the back foot the entire fight and David had his moments while Boots stood his ground and pieced him up at range and was unable to get hit. In the later rounds, the reason Boots fought on the inside more recklessly hunting for a KO is because he didn’t respect David’s power or strength to where he can hunt for a KO knowing there won’t be consequences. You can see someone who Boots respected a lot more is Roman Villa who is a heavy pressure guy with a chin, power and great on the inside. Boots fought him at range and pieced him up and as soon as they get close, Boots would clinch instead of fighting on the inside. Boots relies on his jab a lot and it’s super good and stiff, it’s super hard to takeaway because Boots already has escapes and counters for people trying to take it away. When you try to split the jab with a jab in a closed stance or a cross in an open stance, Boots will avoid the centre line and counter, or he’ll feint and counter the counter. If you try to counter after the jab, Boots is way too quick and slick and will escape or step back in time. He has that Shakur type distance management at range. Bud will struggle heavy countering a jab like that since Boots is just as if not more athletic and can avoid the counters, Bud I don’t believe will effectively take that away and I see Boots just piecing him up from range.

Bud smooth played with avanesyan and knocked him out with a combo that he wasn’t even trying to knock him out with while boots swung for the fences from round 1 on and couldn’t knock avanesyan out.

I give Ennis a B- for this performance. He also showed a leaky defense. I counted at least 4 low blows from Ennis. He came into that fight at LEAST looking 2 weight classes above DavidA. Respect to DavidA for standing in there and trying to win and not running, he stood and fought, UNLIKE what Pops Ennis said there, DavidA did not quit, how pathetic a thing is that to say.

Crawford vs Ennis is a good fight, but Crawford is chasing bigger fish. How is Crawford afraid of Ennis, but he is willing to fight the top guys at 154 and 168? Where's the logic?
