Hall of Famers all have said he has the goods to be great, but in the same breath, they also said Boots isn't ready for Crawford, etc.. Especially after seeing how he demolished Spence.. Then again we heard the same talk about Spence before he stepped in the ring with a dawg.. Don't be a fan of the moment but better yet look at the eye test... Boots needs a few more years, unfortunately for him Crawford would prefer to fight bigger names before he retires.. If you need an example of someone needing more time look how Floyd demolished a young Alvarez...

Boots already beaten 3 guys ranked in the top 10 and even faced two common opponents who were beaten by both Spence and Crawford. Boots has been chasing household names for the last two years, and he's arguably most avoided fighter in the sport today for a reason. I can already tell by the eye test, since he's been way more dominant against the same level of opposition the two others have faced prior to getting a title shot, and I've been a fan of Boots for the last 3 years. He can definitely beat Crawford. Plz dont confuse his style here in this fight and the chances he takes as something he would do with Bud. Hell be much more smarter and conservative with Bud. He puts on shows for the fans and isnt just going to hide all fight. Thats what I love about him against inferior talent. i think this was the best fight of the year , they both gave everything , the chalenger was a very strong fihter , he was a true chalenger. that brought the fight closer to ennis, i wish a good recovery and a good future , heis very strong , because if it was any other fighter he should be knocked out too early with those kind of shot,but he fought back and better at the end ennis was too strong

I think sometimes having too much heart will kill you later on down the line in boxing when taking too much damage. This was a great fight Villa was tough but defense questionable Ennis put on a clinic with his performance.

The difference here is that Villa fights at the same weight he walks around in his everyday life, while Ennis cuts too much weight to make the grade and then rehydrates them back for fight night. The difference in sizes is clearly visible.
