The high note is called harmonics. It's when you pluck the string with your ring or middle finger and lightly touch it with your index finger (but not pressed your index finger hard enough to make it touch the fret). It's always on the 12th fret. So if his left hand is playing a chord, for example the basic A chord which is on D G B strings on the 2nd fret, if he wants to make it into harmonics notes, he has to move his right hand index finger to touch the D G B strings on the 14th fret and pluck the strings with his middle or ring finger. Hope you understand what I'm saying, lmao. I'm just trying to explain that he did so much in one video.

The high notes are called a harmonic. There are forced harmonics and natural harmonics, his pointer finger is lightly touching over the fret and he is picking it while releasing it at the same time. Almost a mute. If you like that check out Eric Mograine Air Tap.

Thanks, found him and downloaded, and yes paid (eyeroll) for 2 cds, albums, whatever. The finger dance on Goosebumps is fantastic . My favorite classical piece, Canon in D, will never be the same. Eargasm!!! I can say that right?

The high notes are cause by a method called Harmonics. Lightly vibrating the string.

Yes, you are of course right. What is impressive is that he does them with one hand. Usually one hand touches the string lightly while the other hand picks the string. I'm sure what he does isn't new and many guitarists can do harmics this way but for sure he is doing something which is hard with two hands working together let alone one hand. .....unless of course he is plicking the string with his right hand which after typing all this I realized must be what he is doing....

pushing with index finger n then picking with thumb with lightly touch he used a harmonic technic kinda looks easy but it's hard to find harmonic missing a lit bit, the sound will not comin so precision n accuration n memorize the places is the key looks so easy yet it's hard

Thomas Zwijsen does great acoustic guitar covers of Iron Maiden... He's even brought Blaze Bayley on the channel to sing (lead singer before Bruce Dickenson). It's a great contrast to listen to Bruce do The Clansman with the full band, then hear Blaze sing it with just Zwijsen playing acoustic.

He is using harmonics, created by picking the string and slightly touching the string 12 frets from where you chording hand is pressing the string to create the chord.
