We Indians are great learners. We learnt a lot from Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Saheb. He was an icon of all times. He loved India. We loved him. He was an example and teacher for every singer. That's because it is written by a spiritual person. Singers like her & NFAK become the instruments of the divine to convey the spiritual Nazm (poem) in a way that it invokes spirituality, especially to the spiritual seekers, the initiated sadhaks. Eyes are the window to the soul. The intoxication talked about here is the spiritual intoxication which comes over just by looking into the beloved's eyes and not the literal alcohol.
