I guess I just want somewhere to share my story. When I was 19 I took shrooms, and it was like I was turned inside out. As a child, I was very extroverted and loved being around people. And after the shrooms, I felt disconnected from everyone and everything around me. I just wanted to alone. I am learning to feel happiness from within myself, not running from myself. It's been a LONG and PAINFUL process but once it's healed, it's healed and beautiful.

Heroin addiction actually destroyed my life. I started doing drugs since my teenage, spent my whole life fighting heroin addiction. I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Not until my wife recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 8 years totally clean. Much respect to mother nature the great magic shrooms.

From my experience it really works excellently! It doesnt even need to be a full hit. With potent shrooms 2-3 small ones will still make a difference. It will be a few hour cosy rumbling arount in bed time, not being able to sleep with a brain in full gear and some color effects on the walls but afterwards its just calm and you feel amazing and gain your freedom. Psilocybin is different dudes, its the only "drug" I would recommend to someone who genuinely wants to get better. There is no addiction, withdrawal, or negative side effects. It's just pure healing., far more effective than any anti-depressant. You can thank me later

Kymmy Pargo(and others on this page).... Let me say, I myself have NEVER (and hope to not ever) tried any drugs....knock on wood. Even the LEGAL ones I shy away from. And not because I feel I am above or better than anyone who has tried them. But because I grew up seeing the effects of what addiction does to an entire family. And I also had young lives watching their mother/sister/aunt live a healthy, natural, holistic and non-addictive lifestyle. Yet, this didn't inhibit my loved ones from experimenting with recreational substances. Which in turn over took their lives. So never say never.Or believe it can't happen to your loved one. You can be the BEST and most supportive parent in the universe. Yet, our children make their own choices. In no way do I blame this young ladies parents for HER POOR decisions. it seems to me that they did more than the average parent could(homeschooling, provisions, etc). They did what they thought they needed to do save their daughter's life. Until you go through it as a parent, you don't know what you would do. There is NO playbook on how a parent is to handle a drug addicted child. All you can do as a parent(and other family members) is keep to YOUR relationship with your higher power strong. Otherwise, this disease can take out the entire family. And generations thereafter. It's sad to see the people on this site condemning the parents for NOT being enablers(or making their daughter FACE the consequences of her POOR choices). I don't think there is a cookie cutter solution on the part of the people who are feeling the effects(and affects) of a drug addicted family member. Since drug abuse is a SELFISH decision. The person using will ALWAYS behave selfishly FIRST. And in that moment, they will care ANYTHING about the pain and trauma they are causing others. And not because they are meaning to do so but because the DRUGS makes them unable to do so. And since it is such a SELFISH(centered around SELF) disease....The family and friends effected by it can only pray that the "SELF" eventually decides to stop on their own. Sadly, I have seen so many parents, children and family members lose themselves running after somone who refuses to stop. I say this to say...Never say never. But if you do find yourself being a family member of someone fighting this HORRIBLE addiction, never let it take you out also. We can LOVE our family members deeply. But it doesn't mean that we allow their BAD decisions to over take our lives. EXAMPLE: When a plane is going down, who is encouraged to put on their oxygen masks first? It's the adult. If the adult doesn't put on their oxygen mask first, they will die. Which renders them unable to help the child or young person next to them. The same goes for our children and addiction. I am happy this young lady is clean. I always rejoice when one of our young lives is salvaged from this horrible addiction. My support and love goes out to both this brave young lady and to her parents who spent the late nights(and resources I am sure) losing sleep over whether they would receive the dreaded phone call so may parents have experienced. Once we understand what this disease does to ALL parities involved...we will never cure it! Much love!

I've been down the sickening path of opiate addiction- Fentanyl to be exact. Crack, coke, E, Molly, shrooms, acid etc were all a big part of my life for many years...but not 1 of those drugs fucked with my mind like opiates, mainly becuz I wasn't sick without those other drugs. The euphoria, the feeling of being saturated in a warm thick blanket like hug...was bliss. Until it wasn't anymore. Shit turned bad- quick. Death of friends, suicide of my boyfriend, homelessness etc etc etc. I had alienated myself from everything and everyone I loved. Fentanyl (and morphine, oxy, dilaudid etc) rewired my brain....I no longer recognized myself. It was/is a long hard jour

Wow!! Amazing story.. I am a heroin addict. I lost my mom 6 months ago unexpectedly and unfortunately relapsed. 3 different rehabs under a 10 year span. I’ve had to restart my sobriety date, but I am clean. 30 days. Rehab never worked for me. Being stripped off suboxone made me go right back to using. Something dr never told me. Cold turkey withdrawals will make u NOT want to pick up again. Stay prayed up! Bless you girl! Xox
