But he's basically saying no matter how many times you ask me, no matter how many concerns you have. I'm a metal head. But this song hits home. After a 13 year marriage ended from being cheated on and found my second wife my life forever changed and I knew I had everything I needed. The old me drinking every day went away into the past and I am thankful now for what happened because my wife is everything I've ever dreamed of in a woman!!!

First off just wanna be clear; I’m a gay guy, doesn’t mean I can’t relate with this song. I’m 23 and have had a few relationships and in one right now. My first real love was named Anthony and we went through hell together, his dad was very very physically abusive and everyone ignored it and it tore us apart. Fast forward a few years and I think back to him all the time. I miss him for sure but whenever I hear this song, all I can think of is Joshua, my current partner and he makes me so happy, every lyric from this fits like a puzzle with us, all my worries fall to the floor; I want to cry but in joy. This is such a beautiful song, this coming from someone who usually listens to rock, and metal. Thank you for gracing us with this. I can’t even begin to describe the emotional value this song holds for me

Don't go back. Take the time to learn from it and move forward. If she broke up with you, it's because she most likely had another guy on the sidelines. She presumably felt he would be the better upgrade. (Unless you cheated on her, then forget the aforementioned). When that fling goes south, she'll realized she made a poor decision, (not a mistake), and try coming back into your life. She'll try all the moves, (ego stroking, puppy face, sexual advances, etc). And when those don't work, she'll scoop down to deflection, playing the blame game, and guilt tripping you into thinking it was all your fault for her leaving, (or for her cheating). Which, is ridiculous. Don't fall for that trap or bother engaging in her battle. It's a shit test. Go about your life and block her in every sense, via calls, social media, and subconsciously. Best thing to do is grieve if you must. Then build yourself up into a stronger self. Replace her. Learn from your own poor decision making and experiences, never repeat it again. Because it takes two to tango. Nobody's perfect man. I'm sure you both had your up's an downs. Rights an wrongs. But it's done. Lead logically and reasonably. Not emotionally. The rest is up to you.
