the similarities to the Bele dance from the french caribbean is so strong i got goose bumps. i strongly believe we were taken form Ghana and if its true i'm proud of it

I read a research article about Caribbean English patois on which it was demonstrated that the syntax is the same as in Twi and Ga. There is still a lot of African culture that is still part of Caribbean culture. It's just called something else. Everytime a Jamaican says unu (you all), he/she is speaking Igbo. It's even spelled the same.

Coco Lahtay I am not sure how to spell it. But when I was learning Twi; unu was also used for you all. I think it was spelled a little differently though.

The Caribbean is made of people from west Africa because that was the first stop on the slave trade

The Ga-Dangbe tribe extends to Togo, a coastal colony of France during the French slave trade. Before this tribe emigrated in the 1600s, they likely lived in present-day Mali and Niger, which were also colonies of France.

This is the Ga fishman dance. At the end of the day the ,men do this to entertain their wives who equally work hard alongside their husbands. I am a Ga. and did this dance often as kids

Ellen Clerk Plse what’s the meaning of kpanlogo ?
@DRUMNICOdotcom2 жыл бұрын
Kpanlogo is a social/recreational dance. It is not a fishermanʻs dance. Misinformation is rampant on the internet.

this is awesome it reminds me of Bomba from Puerto Rico
@jcyberj9 жыл бұрын
That's probably one of the origins of the Bomba.
@blacksai48403 жыл бұрын
@@jcyberj it is the origin because the Caribbean is made up of Africans from west Africans
