Chicago P.D.: Fighting Ghosts
“Fighting Ghosts”
SEASON PREMIERE. The team responds to the shooting of a 5 year old girl and they must work the case while facing new obstacles that come from the heightened attention on police reform. Atwater is targeted by a group of officers who want to hurt him for standing against the blue wall. Voight questions whether he's cut out for a new form of policing as he manages oversight from the CPD's deputy superintendent.

Boy, Season 8 got off to a BANG, didn't it? Chicago P.D.. Still the best series on TV. Now or ever! And the best actor? Ever?? You are looking at him. Sgt. Hank Voight. They should make a statue of him!

Happy Birthday Jason Beghe! I love you in Chicago PD and hope they do not take the sass out of Hank Voight. I love the bad boy in him and do not want him to go soft. In light of BLM and other movements, everything is being put under a micro glass. Some for the better and some for the worse. Hank Voight needs to say just the way he is. A badass cop who goes after the worse of the worse and not with gloves on. Oh why does he not have a love life. Com on NBC. Everyone has someone on that show except Hank!

sgt hank voight is definatly old skool, and the writers and consultants did their homework when creating this character, hower this character was no unique to sgt voight, this was the way policing was to a point. his lines are kinda limited to barking out the same orders when trtying to solve a problem. i guess chicago is letting him and sgt platt work past the manditory retirement age.

I know what you mean. I’m pretty sure that, a lot of police sergeants can all think, that the world these days is the same as when they all started their careers a very long time ago when they were just starting and beginning to become police officers to keep us all safe and protected. But things have changed over the course of the years, and in this day and age, with social media and the media itself and the more modern and upgraded technology in all of the world, the way it all looks, it isn’t the same world of cops anymore like it all used to be a long time ago, and the same rules might do and don’t really apply to want to go by the book each and every time, they work a case, or even, to have to work an investigation, no matter what it is, and that is why the world doesn’t really go the way it does anymore, like how it all used to be for police officers all around, years and years ago, and even though it’s just a TV show, I have observed and learned that from watching Chicago P.D., and I’m pretty sure that all police officers around can think that the world is the same like it used to be, and I may not know about police officers from all around the rest of the world, but they are all dead wrong here in America, as everything for police officers in America have changed over the years, meaning that it’s not the same world of cops anymore. Does that make sense?

My favorites on Chicago PD are Adam, Kevin, Hailey, Erin, of course Hank, Platt and before he was killed off I loved Al. And I can't stand Burgess wish they would just either have her character leave or kill her character off. Jay's all right but he's not one of my favorites same thing with Antonio he's all right but he's not one of my favorites either. But my two main favorites are Adam and Kevin.
