@@mikeadams7904 tbf... you had to give him another chance after he got us to Semis in Russia... England were at an all time low after the Iceland exit in 2016. But He should’ve been sacked after euro 2021, unfortunately the FA saw it as an achievement that he got us to the final… ignoring the fact that we had a favourable route and pretty much any half decent manager would’ve got us there. The reality is, we lost the final BECAUSE OF HIM and his failure to change tactics mid-game. It was criminal how he left Saka, Sancho, Rashford, Bellingham and Grealish on the bench when it was clear Italy started gaining the upper hand and something had to change. The only light at the end of this tunnel is Gareth’s already said that win or lose the Euros, he’ll be quitting England! I hope he sticks to his word.

It really annoys me when people use ‘we need to do a 360’ instead of ‘a 180’. Spurs fan says we need to reverse what we are doing and need to do a 360. Can Rice kick with his left foot? Several times he went up the left wing with the ball and then turned back and gave an ineffective pass backwards .... why? Start Gordon on the left and get crosses into the box. By and large, we were rubbish again. Palmer came on ... too late .. and made a big difference. Start with Gordon on the left and Palmer on the right.

Got to play Bellingham in midfield with Rice, Foden as a 10 and possibly Gordon on the left. Palmer looked really good when he came on and has to start and Kane has to be dropped. A centre forward has to be a centre forward and not another midfielder. He has been woeful. Either Toney or Watkins has to start the next game

They've definitely got it wrong on the left side. Gambling on Shaw, he needed another left footer, like Mitchell or Chilwell. Foden/Trippier come inside all the time, so we're not using enough width, its glaringly simple. Also, they've got throw in coaches, set piece coaches, etc. What about a 'kick the ball with either foot' coach?

Why wouldn't better sides employ the same tactics as these lesser sides against us? This idea better sides are going to come at us leaving us space to play is stupid. If i was a better side i would play the same tactic knowing we would have better success on the break and better at frustrating England

Given that Gallagher played so high up why not play Bellingham as the 8 and Foden as the 10. Then Gordon or Eze can go on the left. It's crying out for it.

Play Walker lb and Trent rb, Mainoo next to rice and replace Saka with palmer. Walker can get up and down and give us width at left back.

Looked decent once Gordon & Palmer were on the pitch. Other than that it was terrible. If Southgates plan is to make everyone think England are pathetic, then, when it counts, switch it all up and stun the world, then he's a master tactician. Maino did nothing different to Conner other than leaving the defence more exposed in transition. Bellingham isn't the answer to any question with that squad around him. Kane is past his due date and there is no one at the back than can make forward line splitting passes.

Talking about the same thing over and over . Midfield next to rice and who plays no10 and also who plays in the left . Now Foden (aka) played with most off the ball today it will happen next game . He won’t change it and we just have to loose what nails we have left .

For me the best thing is for Jude to sit on the bench with those two performances Foden has to start in the 10 Mainoo next to rice Gordon on the left If you wanna shake it up even more palmer on the right and watkins ahead of kane
