Oh many of us Aussies do work a lot ..but we try to make it look effortless.. we try to not be fazed by the things we can't change ..we are more accepting that some things just are as they are ..& we try not to waste time or dwell on seemingly insignificant things ...then we just try to move on & forward from that.xx💖

Jason is s right about the Aussie way. Work to live not live for work. Favourite phrase Aussies have "No Worries". Oh and that building he was hanging off of ??? The CN Tower here in Toronto Canada .... it's called Edge Walk. I've never done it (and probably never will cause I'd die of fear) You can walk around the 'edge' of the tower and the views are amazing (so I am told) You are tethered so it's safe.

He's right when it comes to work/life balance though. Americans only get 2 weeks of annual leave per year compared to our 4, and there's no such thing as long service leave there. Also, they're routinely EXPECTED to work overtime (according to my cousins who live there). Here, if you work 9 to 5, for the most part you work 9 to 5. If you're still at work at 5.15, many bosses here will kick you out because they want to go home themselves. I don't know if it's the work hours he's referring to or the attitude toward work. I work long hours, 12 hour shifts, but the management here makes sure we're gone on the dot and not hanging around for a second longer. Our bags are on our shoulders and all gear signed in and accounted for at the 11 hour 55 minute mark of our shift, just waiting for the clock to tick over and we're out of there like bats out of hell, including the boss. I think that's very Australian :)

here is 10small tips to any US citizen that wants to come to Australia. 1. leave your attitude along with your guns at the departure lounge. 2. don't panic! it will be there waiting for you when you get back, we don't want it. 3. you cannot buy, nor carry a gun over here, this is not the wild west as it is in the USA. 4. enjoy the sites the food and the different cultures. 5. Australia has a culture, they have song, dance and food and we are proud of it. 6. The US has, Levi's jeans, McDonalds, mass shootings, guns and bombs and you are proud of it? 7. take lots of photo's, buy the occasional souvenir. 8. when you get back to the US "the home of the brave and the free," pick up your gun and your attitude, you will notice it is still there in tact as you left it. 9. Show your friends the photo's and tell them you had a nice time. 10. Oh and don't forget to tell your friends you experienced real freedom for the first time in your life not having to carry a gun!

My faith in Jesus got me through those hellish times during my school days. Kids can be ugly and cruel. And now with the Internet it's worse. I pray they have someone to talk to.

As an American living in Australia for the last 3 years Gold Coast drivers are the worst and people will bring out weapons to fight you in a road rage 👊🏿

@@isaacannanjr2371 yeah true but here in South Australia they are generally really polite and rarely even toot their horn at you!! There are some exceptions though but coming from Victoria we're surprised at it after 3 years! Our best friends are Americans here. They're awesome. Plus you clearly are a jewEl. Baruk you!!

I was in Sydney and while I was waiting for the light to turn green some lady started in the other lane started yelling at me and freaking out. I had rented a small compact car and two men yelled at me making fun of the vehicle. Sydney wasn't a nice place, Brisbane was better.

@TheEditor107 I think it was just Sydney. I travelled around quite a bit and had no other problems, just there. It's not a matter of sensitivity, it's a matter of a large city having a large amount of rude people in it.

@@WildRoseCountryGirl Sydney is New York with a different accent. Don’t get me wrong, they’re both great cities - but they’re both these big ‘world’ cities and unfortunately, I find that all big cities will have a ‘me first/dog eat dog’ attitude that smaller cities, towns, countrysides will never understand.
