***** I´m not arguing with that, but Veronica didn´t give me that impression. Logan and Piz weren´t the only guy she dated. But they were never enough. During all those relationships she always kept that bickering/ unrealized flirting with Logan. Like it was something she missed with them. They didn´t challenge her in any way. Just remember Leo. She liked him, there was nothing wrong with their relationship, but how easily she broke up with him for Logan. Only with him she never wandered off elsewhere romantically. She never even noticed Piz as a guy until she considered herself and Logan done. It isn´t my Hollywood influenced mind, it´s what I see from her behaviour.

@@tsevca I like how you phrased it. It's all so PC nowadays that people are too afraid to admit that Piz was a coward. Call him a pacifist if you want, but if you are into a girl that literally fights crime, you can't be this scared of confrontation. In the movie, when Piz finally joins the fight, he looks back at Veronica and sarcastically says "This is what men do, right?" And it was truly a very sad, pathetic moment for him as a character (I do normally find him very likeable and funny), because you realize that next to Veronica, he would always feel small. She's someone who runs into the fire and he's the one who stands on the sidewalk calling the fire station. So I think at the end of day, the series and the movie were never really about who Veronica should pick, but about who Veronica is? Does she want a normal, less stressful life as she walks into adulthood? We learn at the end that she doesn't. She tried and it was like going against your nature. I do like that someone as complex as Logan plays an important part in Veronica's journey. If we look back at season 1, what initially draws her to him romantically is his deep inner pain he felt after his mother's suicide. She recognized that pain very well, she had the same feeling of emptiness and abandonment after her own mother left. That's why their first kiss was so unexpected. We didn't see the typical "oh he's so cute/sexy but I hate him" attraction. Veronica's attraction to Logan is much deeper than what the eye can see. Neither Piz, nor Leo, nor anybody else really can hold a candle to the history Logan and V have.

P.S. I know that Rob Thomas is bringing Leo back for the mini series, and as far as I understand, he will be a possible romantic interest for Veronica once again... I worry and I hope that the writers won't screw with her and Logan's epic story. They had epic scenes in the first three seasons and I hope to see more in the revival. Normally I wouldn't worry but I didn't like how absent Logan was in the books Rob wrote after the movie. Also, he describes the awkwardness between them as Logan spends much time at sea and they get to Skype one another once in a while. I expect better material in the revival!

I can't judge - the feeling about their first kiss. Back then, when the show first aired in my country, the way they advertised it, it was like telling people it was going to be a stupid teen show with unrealistic detective plot. So my expectations were really low, I liked the first episode, but her flashback wig was cheap, Duncan, her main love interest, and Troy were one more boring than the other and the 2nd episode had Paris Hilton as Logan's girlfriend, so it went really low in my eyes. I had watched 2 or 3 episodes back then, but kind of knew I was going to drop it soon. We had the internet only for a few weeks or so and I just discovered KZfaq and fan videos. I watched a video and it was a multicouple and literally BOOM - one of the couples in the video was them. I could not believe it considering she put a bong in his locker just two episodes back and he threatened her with a crowbar. I looked up anything there was about the show and the couple (the possibility of spoilers was new to me and I didn't even imagine I could watch anything on the internet), because that shock sent my jaw into my lap. And so when I watched the couple evolving, I already knew the outcome, so I was kind of robbed of that feeling.Anyway, it was never about the couple drama. That's why there was never supposed to be a love triangle. But they misjudged the fans. They hated Duncan and loved Logan. Kristen and Jason never had a chemistry test, so no one expected that chemistry and it would be a job badly done to ignore that. But once you slip to one triangle, the relationship drama just takes the story elsewhere.

@@tsevca Actually, Kristen and Jason did have an audition together. Everybody, including the actors themselves, noticed how easy it was to create organic banter between Logan and Veronica. They weren't supposed to be a couple on the first draft but because of the initial chemistry, there were many scenes written for the two of them. Soon enough Rob Thomas realized the magic that was in front of him. Thanks for sharing your view, by the way. May I ask where you are from?
