Too many of these old treasures being hoarded by collectors and sitting in vaults. Great to see this one out in its natural environment, doing what it was born to do.

I agree. Whether it’s classic cars or vintage guitars, if you trailer these cars to car shows or hang these guitars in a glass case, I get the same enjoyment as the owner because we’re all just standing around looking at them. And I didn’t have to shell out megabucks to purchase them or insure them. Thanks, Jason, for putting it through it’s paces on a regular basis.

The magic about ‘Burst (the average that is good, when ‘good’ is fantastic, and the ones that are epic, where you are in the out of this world range) is about being so FULL but with THAT clarity and definition of every harmonics the guitar produces. These guitars sound like... a rainbow.

Depends on the guitar n what Jimmy's feelin. On mine its fun in the middle with the neck on 7, then tweek the bridge into a sweet spot. Fer leed you bump the bridge to 10, then theres the straight bridge position on 10, lil slight boost. But in the middle you get 90% what you need. Infinately fun!! Mines n ol 74

False, Page was way into his recently-acquired 59 Les Paul by the time recording for Led Zeppelin III began, and there's tons of video of him using the LP for live recordings of SIBLY as well. It's LP with vintage PAFs all the way on this.
@pawlowskieddie5039
@pawlowskieddie5039 3 жыл бұрын
@@antipsychosoup6709 true he had his 59 by Zep 2 that Joe Walsh gave which he did most of Zep 2 on. Wut he used live has nothing to do with wut he used in the studio.He also used the Tele on the solo to Stairway to Heaven on Zep 4. Itz possible Page had access to a Les Paul with PAF'S but I never heard about it or seen it in a picture which doesn't mean squat anyways but anything's possible

Flipping the pickup around does nothing to alter phase . Peter greens guitar was out of phase becuase the magnet got installed wrong after one of the coils had to be rewind and was rewound with formvar wire so it had one coil with plain enamel wire and one coil with formvar wire and the magnet fipped . Flipping the pickup alone does nothing to alter phase and installing the cover wrong does nothing to alter phase either .

That crazy hollow woody bite saw tooth thing... yeah, no new Gibson does that. My 8.8 lb prehistoric reissue flame top is the closest with the Shaws but, no purple wire doesn't have that smoothness that real PAF's have. Still close than any boutique like trobak arcane doyles so many more can't name them all but, it's the light old dry wood and the right pickup design. Gibson's custombucker 3's and the dense wood makes them all sound dead.
