Envy, I hope you see this. This was one of your BEST interviews. You really have evolved from being CTG’s lap dog to being your own journalist. You asked CTG the tough questions and disagreed where it really mattered. And most people would agree with you. What Civil did to Jason and others was foul and Jason stood his ground. Thank you because per usual CTG is protecting his own interests.

This is Jason’s best interview to date! The growth is amazing. CTG did not surprise me this is how he has always been. He is not fair he knows who to go in on and who not to. Nonetheless nothing Jason has said is wrong and he has every right to pursue this. I respect the journey and growth and despite all his antics, he has maintained his integrity throughout.

Karen is Charlamagne's friend and he doesn't want to contribute to the "negative" but true and necessary talk about her (although Angela Yee is also is his friend and he didn't offer her the same grace). But Jason is his friend as well, and CTG was trying to dismiss the justice that Jason deserves. But I'm super proud of Envy for asking Charlamagne if it had been anyone else besides Karen Civil, would he have the same feelings. Kudos to Envy for that!

Yeah. Sometimes, ya cohost has to check you. Otherwise, you’ll dig a whole hole for yaself to later fall in. So, on 1 end Envy called him out. But at the other end, he HELPED him out by makin him own his bias; which I can seriously appreciate bcuz ya REAL FRIENDS are the 1s who tell you you’re fuckin up & are honest with you. I agree! He lost my respect after throwing that drink in Hazel E’s face. Started gaining it back after hearing how well he handled the interview with Angela Staton and how professional he was with her until he just had it with her disrespect, and now has it a little more with this interview. You can see he’s growing, maturing, learning more professionalism and how important a good brand is.
