This is a superb fan portrayal of Jason. Not only is the costume dead on, but your body size, movements, and mannerisms all hit the mark as well. It really feels like I'm watching Jason and not a fan in a costume. Not many people can pull that off. Oh and I LOVED the MGS bit! hahaha

$550 is so worth it. That was an AWESOME show at the end, I actually screamed when he leaned back up after looking at the rabbit... 😱 I remember when the movie first came out in the early 80s. Nostalgic childhood memories and fun, especially watching it during Halloween with friends and family.

The reason Jason is the only good actor is because he doesn’t have any speaking parts. I feel like the whole atmosphere could have been more menacing if it were night.

Bad ass!!! I've seen short movie vids if Freddy, Michael, and Leatherface but none of Jason. This one reminds me of a friend of mine did with his Leatherface costume. If I didn't know any better I would've thought this was a preview for a new Friday the 13th movie! Your costume is dead on I wish there were more movie quality costume videos on here. Great job man!

+hydroglyphic It's "ki ki ki ma ma ma" with a lot of echo applied to it which gives it the "ch ch ch ha ha ha" sound. Manfredini has confirmed it means "kill, mama."

@@tobiasfarragut292 The ones in the video came from Amazon, if I recall correctly. They are the "double-knee" variant and aren't screen accurate. I believe they were the only ones I could find in my size at the time. I've since upgraded the pants to a more accurate look, using these (silver color); www.dickies.com/pants/original-874-work-pants/874.html?dwvar_874_color=BK#start=1

3 things about the shortfilm at the end 1: her looking at jason looks more like she forgot a line in the script 2: the guy he kills wouldn't be able to stop him for MULTIPLE reasons one being he's dead... you can't live that long after having your throat slit like that. you'd have bled out and drowned in your own blood. next... Jason's not that weak where a guy his size would have stopped him from walking. 3: This Jason didn't do the head thing, that was michael myers inspired in later installments. Other wise,fantastic! you're the perfect size to play Jason! It'd be cool to get into a film and have it set so you and I were bouncing off each other to play the role XD (I'm 6'4" and Kane Hodders size )

Technically, this Jason did do the head tilt. Part 4 Jason does it when young Tommy is asking him to 'remember'.

That's correct, Chris. Jason did do the head tilt in Part 4. He also did it in Part 2 when he busts through the door to his mom's head room and Ginny is pretending to be his mother. To Matthew Haney's second point; yes, I agree. It doesn't make a lot of sense, and here's why; the first hiker was never supposed to come back after his throat was slashed. Originally, there was gonna be a third hiker who stumbles onto the scene and inadvertently provides the distraction for the final girl to temporarily elude Jason. But, on the day of shooting he had a family situation and had to cancel. We were shooting in late December and the weather was about to turn bitterly cold so we couldn't wait. I decided it was better to do injustice to logic and give 'Jimbo' one last miracle breath to provide the escape rather than do injustice to Jason directly and have him lose the final girl in plain sight. I really need to do a video on the stories surrounding the making of this little short. There are several interesting tidbits I could share.

This was pretty awesome. I have the Kane Hodder walk down. I've scared so many people through the years on Halloween. Not only kids but grown adults as well. I have even went to haunted houses dressed up and scared the actors in them.

That zoom in on the back of the hood at 11:21 is fuckin freaky. As you keep looking at it it begins to look like a real back/neck. So lifelike. Fantastic work by CompositeEffects.

awesome costume! Friday the 13th The Final Chapter has always been my favorite of all of the franchise! I am friends with the owner of the house that was used as the Jarvis house. I was there not long ago. In the front door frame, there are still machete gashes from the several takes they did on the scene where Trish turns and swings the machete at Jason and misses. The house has changed very little.
