I always cry when I hear this song bc it reminds me of my boyfriend bc he would always sing me to sleep any time with this song. I've known this song for so long. My friend recently forced me to watch TVD and by recently I mean literally today, it's 2 am right now and on episode 6, this started playing and I immediately recognized it. Knowing this song from my childhood made the episode so much more emotional.

I tried my best, I did everything I could, and still am doing, then why am I still stuck and can't feel my progress?? Am I really that hopeless?? Will I never be able to make my family proud and happy?? Why did you turn your back on me ???? Is death the only thing left for me???" I think god is not by my side, my god lied about helping me and staying by my side and helping. Cause if he/she really cared about me then he/she would've helped me. People who are less religious and less good and effortful are doing better than me. If they are happy then why am I sad?? when I was the one who was supposed to be happy. It's not like I don't want them to be less happy, but I should've been happier cause I gave so much effort. But no one saw that. No one saw how hard I worked. Now I feel like I do not know where I am, I am just waiting and waiting for what I want. My parents are working so hard for me but I can't give them anything. I am trying my best but still, I can't give them anything. Now I feel like I can't do anything, I feel like everything is against me and everything wants me to suffer. Every day I see my parents feel more and more hopeless about me and say that they gotta suffer the rest of their life for me, I just can't take it anymore. O God, O almighty if you are really up there and if you really care about your followers then you are going keep your last promise and the last request I have. That is if you make me live my life then give me the happiness I deserve, the life I deserve, or take my life at once, I beg you, I am tired, I am tired of holding on, please show me the way. I try my best every day but I can't find any way out of this sadness, why do I have to suffer this badly??, why are you not listening to me?? who am I gonna complain to, who is the criminal for this life of mine?? You said in your book that you give what your follower wants and deserves, then where is my happiness and rewards? I am losing hope. I don't know how long I will live, cause my willpower to live is depleting like wildfire, I just can't anymore. Please save me.

I like this song even though it’s depressing. It makes me feel okay knowing that every one life isn’t perfect and is going down hill sometimes. Most the time i believe there is something wrong with me and that everyone else can handle life perfectly. I know what you mean actually... it's about the healing process though. My sister told me that they use songs in therapy to help people overcome depression... sometimes they play the song to the patient & if the patient cries, they're still hurting & shit, but slowly the less it hurts... means you're making progress, something like that.
