2 жыл бұрынFor the first time in over 10 years, the Copper Peak Ski Flying Hill in Bessemer, Michigan brought snowmobile hill-climbing back! Watch all the snowmobiles that didn't make it and came tumbling back down this giant hill! Saturday featured the women's class, juniors and vintage, plus qualifying for all others who would race Sunday (in part 2). Big thanks to Cory Burrows for letting me hang out in his heated racing trailer, temps were steady around 13F degrees with strong winds which made it miserable at times. Saturday was a cold, cold day for everyone!

The place was a wreck back in '78 when some college buddies and me climbed all the way to the top of the tower and brought some of the old tires laying around the bottom with us. We let the tires go down the ramp until they crashed through the trees by the black River. The video is deceptive, the hill is about 80 degrees so those guys are doing great. Great video.

Yeah well if Skip wasn't an ass towards me in the past, I might have filmed it all that Saturday. I wasn't planning to do any on Sunday either but MANY racers aid they hoped I would be and to screw Skip... Congrats on that climb though! I seen it!

Probably not.. This jump is only a landmark now.

do you have any infirmation about the renovation of the hill? I know they got the fis certificate a while ago.The first competition was schedulet for 2021 i think.

Do they still have any jumping events? Is this the same hill we have seen the motorcycles climb?

No.. Its only a landmark now. The motorcycle go up Whealkate Bluff in the summer.
