Within the past 10 months we have had to say goodbye to my 53 year old sister, and 45 year old brother. In 1992, my mother lost her first child at the age of 28. If we did not believe what Jason is singing here - God knows what he is doing - we would not be able to put one foot in front of the other, especially my mother. So thankful for artist who shares the hope of Christ through their music and more thankful for our faithful Lord and Savior - our strength, our shield, our fortress. Jason, I love this song. Daily my heart breaks, my daughter is an addict. She told the court system to put her children up for adoption. I helped their Dad get custody and now he won't let me see them. My heart breaks longing to hold them again. The court system will not let me have them because I am disabled. My grandbabies step Mom and step brother are atheist. I raised them for 4 years and taught them to pray and always seek the Lord. Please help me pray that their Dad will have a change of heart. We have been to all four of the reunion tours in Spartanburg, and God willing, I will be there for number 5. You are a preacher, your sermon is in your songs and your life is your testimony. My mom came to the Lord at age 23 and she went thru so much in her life that l don't think that she could ever cover all that happened to her ...people just don't know the hardships..the tears...crying out to God in the middle of the night..l used to lay awake and pray for God to help her...my mom somehow had the endurance to keep going..l would agree that God knows what He is doing...we never know what a person is going thru or struggling with..l saw my mom struggle so much in the years l was growing up..but she always found the strength in Jesus Christ to keep going...still to this day even after all the faltering and the failings she faced she just held on to His nail scarred hands..

Through all the pain, the struggles and doubt. Through all the times the devil has used lies to try and cause us to give up, to make us believe that we have gone to far and have caused His heart to give up on us. Rest assured that He has reasons known only to Him, when we cannot seem to be all He has called us to be, surely, He knows what He is doing. How I love Him.

We played this at my Dad's funeral. I think it says it all. He was ready to be with Mom.

After years of abuse from when I was held against my will and being abused and tormented, I never ever gave up on my faith in God. Everytime I got beaten I still prayed for shelter from the pain and getting out of under from the pain and suffering from the abuser and kidnapper. I knew in my heart that God would get me out of the situation. Now it has been 5 years since God lifted me up and out of that time. Now I am going strong and serving God with a loving heart. I have learned to forgive and to move on in my life. Now I am happy with a terrific husband and part of a ministry.
