Fantastic video as always! very informative and triggering questions and experiments in everyone, which is the most important thing! bravo! now I just want to try to play standing with the ergo bass, hahahahahaha!

I've been playing standing up with a straight end pin for 20 years. I've never gotten along with sitting, but I'm not averse to it, but being 6'3", either borrowing a bass with a long enough endpin or finding a stool that is the lauded Goldilocks height is unlikely. Your video on the RobPin has been haunting me since I first watched it! 😂 I think I'll need to measure my bass and get an order placed soon!

I thankfully ordered the ergo bass before my bass arrived for my trial period. I just tried it today. It made a huge difference. Your videos are so incredibly helpful, I really appreciate that you make them. My first week with my bass I was getting worried that I wouldn't be able to do it cuz, like you show in this video, all the different ways come with different body discomfort and it can be severe. I didn't realize you could play the bass standing with the angled end pin. With the straight end pin I basically can't play even 5 notes, but I tried with the angle today and I felt some hope that I'd be able to play standing eventually, which was awesome!! I am wondering, is there a bass stand that you can play the bass in the stand? Cuz I feel like that would be amazing.

I like the guitar footrest better than the yoga block because it has a slight slant which I find more comfortable. I have been playing for 60 years and never had any problems physically. I credit relaxed and efficient position for this. And my primary teacher, Warren Benfield.

I use an angle end pin that fits into the end pin socket. I use one that keeps the nut at eye level seated or standing.

Can you lean the bass in the corner using the robpin? Great video as usual.

Are your feet flat on the floor with the ErgoBass? Because of my height, even with an ergo bass, I'd need to have a yoga block to reach the floor, which means I'd need to lug around both the Ergo and the yoga block.

Cannot recommend the Ergo Bass highly enough.
