So many people commenting about keeping it private and not airing things out in public - use your brains for a second - If you didn't see this video Jason made, and were shown a clip of some random skater claiming to know him and saying he's a bad guy, your opinion of Jason would be tarnished. He has to defend himself publicly against negative statements made against him publicly.
